Another odd and busy week has just passed and I'm a little bewildered as to how we have come to be in the midst of March when it only feels like last week when we were all swearing to stick to our New Years resolutions?
Anyway let me share what I have been plastering on my face in the days gone by...
For someone who once dismissed the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette I have been getting my fair share of use out of it, the truth is it is pretty much a fool proof way to create an easy and fuss free evening eye look.
However i'm willing to bet in the coming months it will no doubt fall out of favor and be replaced with the original Urban Decay Naked Palette. Fussy me? Never!
Over the past few days I have been mostly relying on Clinique's Even Better Compact Make-Up as it is so easy to transport around and quickly touch up any waning areas of my skin.
My only complaint is that it doesn't stay in place quite as long as I would have liked it to.
You win some, you loose some.
Speaking of keeping make-up in place I have finally replaced my beloved Urban Decay De-Slick Spray,
i'm a little annoyed that I seem to have received one of the older bottles rather than the new sleek packaging
but I can overlook that as this spray is a life saver for oily skin!
On my cheeks I have been fully enjoying E.L.F HD Cream Blush in Superstar which is a beautiful and bright coral based pink. The beauty of this product is that a little goes a long, long way and even on oily skin types such as my own it wears really well. Not too shabby for a blush that costs less than £4!
My lip choices are a little bizarre as neither product ranks all that highly on my must have list but somehow both have found their way onto my pouter! I have had a few nights out this week and I have more often than not went for a bright red lip in the form of MAC's Scarlet Ibis. Although I don't rate the Maybelline Baby Lips in the slightest I have found one in my bag and have been slicking it on but yes they are very much overrated!
Five out of the seven days of this week has seen my nails be coated in Nails Inc Baker Street which is the most amazing cobalt blue ever, if you don't already own it I suggest investing.
It is easily my favourite nail polish ever!
