As some may now at the start of the week my youngest cat had an accident but is quickly recovering but with an injured pet comes a whole lot of trips to the vet and frankly making myself look presentable hasn't been ranking all that high on my priorities. After this week I have decided to never have kids as I really don't think my wee heart could take it if any ended up injured or sick...thinking ahead or what!?!
Anyway here is a few of the products I have been relying on when time has not been of the essence...
NARS The Happening Palette - a dinky yet jam packed palette, I use the lightest eyeshadow shade all over my lid and add a little definition to the crease using the mid taupe shade. No prizes for guessing what my blush choice has been over the last few days, yup NARS Orgasm which also features in this little kit.
Luckily NARS Orgasm is the perfect suit all, go with everything shade and I can safely say we have reignited our love affair.
This week has been all about Maybelline's Super Stay 14 Hour Lipstick in Stay with Me Coral - a bright red tinged coral that really lasts the pace of the day without drying out my lips too much.
If you don't have the time or perhaps the patience to constantly top up your lip colour throughout the day I highly suggest checking out Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hour Lipsticks they do not disappoint.
To perk up my skin I have found a few drops of MeMeMe's Beat the Blues liquid highlighter mixed in with my foundation which has more often the not been Revlon's Nearly Naked does more for me than your typcial brush on highlighter. The light coverage combined with a little light reflecting radiance ahs allowed me to fake the 8 hours of sleep I clearly have been skimping on.
Needless to say I am a complete and utter worrier so naturally I am prone to stress and the odd moment of sheer panic - i'm sure we all have those days, some days it's fretting over have I left the straighteners/iron/cooker on, others it's just general worries. To soothe frayed nerves I have found the odd dab of Tisserand's De-Stress blend to be effective. It instantly calms and soothes and allows me to have a little moment of clarity which we could all do with now and then.
I have been so lazy with my nails but have swore to myself to step things up this week so expect lots of funky new collections coming your way starting tomorrow! This week I have mainly been sporting a now chipped manicure courtsey of OPI You're Such a Buda-Pest which I have to admit I adore and would be lying if I said I'm not considering purchasing it in full size.
