If i'm being truthful (which we all should try to be) my skin and hair have seen better days.
With that in mind I have decided that it's now or never to get back on track ready for a few months of bleaching my hair back to Barbie blonde and to get my skin ready to bare on various beaches...sorry in advance world!
So let's start with my hair shall we?
At the moment my shampoo of choice is Yuko Phitenbella Shampoo which is a super gentle formula that efficiently cleanses the hair without stripping already parched hair of it's natural moisture and oil barrier.
If like myself you have coloured or bleached hair then I do recommend this shampoo as over time it helps to strengthen the hair and prevent the hair from snapping and generally succumbing to damage.
Damaged hair of course needs a good deep conditioning treatment and for that I have been reaching for Curl Harmony's Intensive Deep Conditioner, which is a super thick balm like conditioner that is a must have for dry, thick hair like mine. To use I apply after washing my hair, slather all over the mid lengths and ends of my hair and wrap it in a towel and leave for half an hour. Once rinsed off I notice that my hair is highly nourished and a lot easier to manage not to mention a lot easier to comb.
No hair repair care routine is complete without a few pumps of Moroccan Oil, my preference is Moroccan Oil Light which is just as hydrating but doesn't weigh the hair down. I like to disperse a one pump of the oil through the ends of my hair before styling to reduce frizz and damage.
When it comes to my body and ridding it of dry skin there is no better duo than L'Occitaine's Almond Shower Oil which is king of all shower oils in my view, no other shower product cleanses but moisturises my skin quite like it and I literally dread the day it runs out.
Couple this with Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion and you have ultimate dream team in the fight against dry weather ravaged skin. Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion despite being a rich formula is quickly absorbed and non-greasy...I adore it and swear by it for my elbows, hands and feet.

Oooh I need to do a deep conditioner. My hair is so dry and Moroccan oil, although fab, doesn't seem to be enough on its own. Will try the one you've suggested thanks x

I find that the Moroccan oil is a bit too expensive for me right now and so I use this Avon Moroccan Argan Oil instead and I find that it does the job really well! x
