I know what some are thinking "but you have oily skin" very true I do but in the recent months thanks to upping my skincare routine I'm not as oily as I have been. So in turn I can get away with using products aimed at normal skin every now and then.
If like myself you adore REN skin care or are simply looking to try out some new products then I can not recommend the REN Kit's. Each kit features four mini but sizable products that are perfect to trial or to travel with, in my experience you have at least two weeks of product in each tube which is a great size to gauge if the product is for you or not.
Inside the REN Kit for Normal Skin you will find:
REN Glycolatic Radiance Renewal Mask - I have reviewed this in full here - link should you want a full review but summed up this mask is nothing sort of miraculous An exfoliating mask that is gentle and with continued use can help to reduce problems such as acne scarring.
REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel - A light rose scented foaming facial cleanser that not only removes all traces of dirt, grime and make-up with ease but also tones and soothes the complexion in one quick step.
I'm not a great advocate of foaming facial cleansers after reading that most contain similar ingredients to dish soap (think Fairy Liquid) but I have to admit that REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel is gentle and doesn't strip the skin. REN is the one brand I trust when it comes to skin care and for that reason I have and do happily use this.
REN Vita-Mineral Day Cream - Admittedly this is a little thicker than my usual day cream but luckily it hasn't caused any problems but I do think it is a little to intense for daily use for skin type.
However having said that the cream is highly hydrating and would be a dream come the summer months when my skin is a little drier or used as a night cream every now and then. Those with normal to dry skin will really enjoy this formula as it instantly hydrates and soothes the skin.
REN Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream - This is one of the very few night creams I enjoy using and can recommend to all skin types, unlike others this isn't too thick or heavy and is great for adding a little radiance to the skin. It hydrates, soothes and repairs what more could you possible need for a night cream?
I really rate the REN Kits as they are perfect for travel and not just for a few nights.
Each trial size is at least 15ml's in size so you do get a good dollop of product to try out or to simple keep your skin care routine in check while away from home.
I will be purchasing the REN Kit for Oily skin for any upcoming trips!

I see more and more REN products now from shops to salons and i really do want to give it a try seeing that i am a big skincare junkie! I like how you can get these products in a nice set so you can try out the products first. I think i will use up some of my products first before buying more though, since i am kind of hoarding alot and building up alot of skincare that i rarely use =/
ReplyDeleteThank you for the review though, it was interesting to read~
