It's Sunday and if you are anything like me you may or may not (I am) sitting in your penguin pajamas debating a second Rolo yogurt but know that yogurt and face masks don't bode well, which brings me on to today's post...we got there in the end!
A few weeks ago I briefly mentioned REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and many seemed intrigued and wanted to know a little more.
REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask at it's core is an exfoliating mask that removes dead skin cells to renew and brighten the complexion, can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is a wonder product for combating congested skin (trapped oil etc) , blackheads and blemishes.
One thing that it doesn't mention on the website that I have found it wonderful in aiding is the removal and fading of old acne/blemish scarring, as the four acids in the product exfoliate slightly deeper than your typical face scrub each time you use the product you fade the scar a little.
Now it will take a while to see results - I have been using this weekly as recommend for 6 weeks now
and only noticed fading to my scars ever so slightly around the four week mark.
To use you simply apply the mask all over the face avoiding the eye area as you would with any mask, leave for 15 minutes and remove with the supplied muslin cloth and warm water...easy peasy!
REN do warn that some may experience a slight stinging/tingle sensation but I can't say that has ever happened to me but rest assure that if it does it is completely normal.
The mask itself has a slight jelly like texture, i'd liken it to the likes of a thick gel cleanser it is not at all unpleasant and does smell truly divine - slightly fruity with a light floral twist, thick Spring and you have the general idea.
Now I know every facial product out there promises the world and just like a well trained MP they deliver next to nothing but hand on heart REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask is one of the few products that you will see instant results with, yes even after one application.
The first time I used it I honestly was so shocked as to how glowing, bright and soft my skin was,
I couldn't stop touching it and didn't want to wear any make-up that day.
That is still the case after each application but now I'm more hooked on seeing how well my scars have faded.
Any exfoliating product just seems lack luster after using Ren's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
that's for sure, a complete holy grail in the making and the best part is that it is suited to nearly every skin type (super sensitive should avoid).

I have been looking around for a new face mask to try and this seems like a great product from your review! Might just need to give it a try!

I have to say I used this and whilst I liked it just did not get the wow factor that everyone was mentioning. Perhaps I was expecting miracles but I guess some things just don't work for everyone. None the less this was another great review!

Ooh, I think I have a mini size of this in a kit I got from M&S (great value kits by the way, four decent size 'samples' for about £12!). Must give it a whirl.
ReplyDeleteThis is so on my list when I run out of my current one (darn spending ban - only allowed to buy when I've finished something else).
