Yesterday I shared two of the new limited edition Revlon Lip Butters Wild Watermelon - review link
and Sorbet -review link, today I have one last shade to share which is perhaps my favourite thus far.
Revlon Lip Butter in Papaya is the third shade I have from the Summer collection which sees the addition of four limited edition shades: Wild Watermelon, Sorbet, Papaya and Pink Lemonade all of which are set to launch later this month.
Revlon Papaya Lip Butter is very much a me shade a light but bright coral shade that has a slight yellow tone making it suitable for most. Papaya is a fairly orange based coral and reminds me of MAC's ever famous Ever Hip shade right down to the formula and finish.
If you like light, bright and creamy coral or peach shades then you are going to want to keep your eyes peeled for this shade as it won't be around long and my suspicion is that this will be the best selling shade out of the quad.
oh hey little lip brush hair, thanks for joining us!
I will level with you all and say that I have not yet fully wear tested the new shades but as the formula is identical to all the other shades (Peach Parfait aside) it doesn't take a genius to figure how that Papaya will behave in a similar manner.
Generally speaking the Revlon Lip Butters are well pigmented and glide on very much like a traditional lip balm. Yet they offer superior colour pay off in comparison to a standard tinted lip balm.
Each shade gives a semi-opaque coverage of colour with a light glossy finish,
they are very moisturising and comfortable to wear and should you wish you can build the colour up in layers. I liken these a little to Mac Cremesheen lipsticks as they feel and wear very similar on my lips,
obviously each one of us will have different results but this is what they remind me of.The Revlon Lip Butters have a very mild typical lipstick scent but nothing noticeable when worn.
I found these to wear around 2-3 hours some shades wore longer than others
but they are not exactly long lasting, all in all a wonderful formula for the warmer months.
Revlon Lip Butter in Papaya has yet to launch but will do this month (no exact date as of yet)
but I would check out all your local Revlon counters as that is where I found mine.
Amazing photos! I love the colour maybe I should be more daring and try out something with more colour than just the Creme Brûlée
