Two new fragrances from Issey Miyake for the hopefully warmer summer months, however I wouldn't hold my breathe as it is now mid March and still snowing in the UK...oh joy!
Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Summer 2013 features two bright and fruity based scents from the fashion house, both have been created by Alberto Morillas.
Truthfully I don't like the summer inspired print on the bottles, it reminds me of a little too much of the style of print Clinique in Happy Bloom more often than not produce only less enticing.
Needless to say simplism is wasted upon me...anyway the bottle is irrelevant and the scents inside is what we all care about.
L'Eau d'Issey Pour L'Ete 2013 is described as a fruit fusion with notes of pink grapefruit, guava and passion fruit. To prevent it becoming too tart or overly sweet notes such as aquatic florals, vanilla and exotic wood help round things off a little.
Top Notes: grapefruit, lychee
Heart Notes: passion fruit, guava, water lily
Base Notes: vanilla, musk, exotic wood
For the man in your life we have L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Pour l'Ete 2013, which is again a fruit bases scent but with a masculine twist in the form of spices such as coriander and nutmeg. The fruity notes include pineapple, kiwi and grapefruit, a nice summer addition to any male fragrance wardrobe.
Top Notes: kiwi, grapefruit, coriander
Heart Notes: pineapple, nutmeg
Base Notes: vetiver, cypress

I actually quite like the print lol, and I love grapefruit scents, so I'll need to check it out
