Emerald may have been named Pantone shade of the year but when the warmer months roll in who isn't a little more than partial to a neon or bright acid shade? I know I am!
Estee Lauder is not a brand I associate with bright shades but helping form the Petals Collection along with four other shades is Estee Lauder's Absinthe.

Absinthe is a hard shade to pin point but best described I would say it is a bright yellow based lime green.
I do think it is one of the shades you'll either love or hate but I can say that it is pretty original
and I don't own anything like it.
In my opinion this is one of those shades that really sizzles with tanned or deep skin tones so maybe purchase this now and keep it aside for the sunnier days?

As mentioned in an earlier post I do rate the formula of Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquers - a thick polish that glides on the nails with ease and is truly opaque after two coats and despite being thick in texture it dries in next to no time at all with a glossy finish.
The brush as you'd expect is also of high quality, long and flat but incredibly easy to use.
It's not often I say it but applying this polish was a complete dream and although they are a little pricey

at £14.50 each but the price is justified in my opinion for the formula alone but I've said that all before!
