I'm a little in shock that tonight is Christmas Eve Eve (real Christmas terminology right there),
I'd like to pretend that I am super organised and ready for the big day but that is far from the truth.
Today I am going to be a trooper and against my better judgement visit my local supermarket
for some last minute food shopping...wish me luck!
Anyway before I go into what can only be described as Shopping Wars let me share my items
that I have dug out of hiding that I plan to put to use this week!
FACE
My Face Cosmetics Blusher in Copa Choca Lata*
This is a beautiful pink tinged brown blush that surprisingly looks better on my winter skin tone
rather than when I am tanned, as it is matte it can also be used to contour the cheekbones
all the while giving a healthy flush of colour to the cheeks.
Art Deco Illuminating Baked Powder *
Dull winter skin requires a gentle glow to perk it up and fake radiance,
this week I shall be relying on Art Deco Illuminating Baked Powder to deliver the faux glow.
Words can not describe just how beautiful this powder is in pan form and once applied to the skin
it gives a light bright gold peralescent effect which is not all that different from NARS Albatross.
EYES
Essence Cherry Girl Blossom Girl Eyeshadow Quad
I recently received this beautiful quad in a swap and I'd be lying if I said I have not been desperate
to put the shades to good use - mainly the two neutral shades and that I shall this week.
Catrice Made to Stay Cream Eyeshadow in Metall of Honor
As I plan to wear the above eyeshadow quad I had to dig out a cream eyeshadow to help prolong
it's wear on my oily lids and the base that seemed perfect had to be Catrice's Metall of Honor.
Metall of Honor is a beautiful golden taupe that really does last the pace of a full day,
if only Catrice was available in the UK!
LIPS
Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Colour in Tawny Pink
After weeks of relying on lip butters and tinted lip balms I felt it was time to wear some proper lipstick,
perhaps matte in formula to make me feel a little sophisticated?
At the moment no-one does matte better than Bobbi Brown - fully matte yet creamy, non drying and comfortable to wear...what more could you possibly want?
My shade of choice is a typical me shade - brown/pink and is called Tawny Pink.
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss Stick in Nudist*
As much as I adore matte lip shades sometimes I do like a light, gloss lip option
and as I haven't wore Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss Stick in Nudist in a little while,
I thought that this week would be a great chance to give this non-sticky yet highly glossy nude lip
shade an outing!
Merry Christmas everyone!
