“Lively. Radiant. Lush….A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well being,
balance, and harmony.”

I'm sure a few are wondering why the heck I have decided to post about the colour of the upcoming year
well my fellow beauty friends it is merely a heads up of what to expect in the coming months in the world
of beauty and so you can also be one step ahead of the game.

Pantone

Last year it was all about Tangerine but this year we will be all be sporting a little green,
believe it or not I'm a little obsessed with the shade Emerald Green and have always said should I ever
get engaged and have in put in the ring design I would say screw you diamonds and sport the hugest
Emerald this side of the Atlantic.

With no engagement on the horizon (womp, womp) I thought I'd share some of my favourite green hued beauty products for a little inspiration but feel free to let me know what green toned products you rate.

1, Wet n Wild Cool I Dream of Greenie Eyeshadow Trio has all the green eyeshadow you could ever want
and more, Wet n Wild are a great budget brand just a shame it is not so easy to source in the UK!

2, We all need at least one groovy green glitter nail polish in our stashes
and I can think of no better than Model's Own in Dancing Queen.

3, If you are looking for a great multi-purpose eye product then may I suggest
Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Shadow Pencil in Clinic which is a deep forest green.
You can use this pencil as an all over wash of colour, a base or as an eye liner.

4, Barry M polishes are great of you are on a budget even if you are not you can count
on Barry M to have a shade for every occasion and purpose.
You really can not go wrong with but Barry M's Racing Green but Watermelon is also a great shade
particularly if you enjoy high shine formulas.

5, I can think of no better formulated eye liners than Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Liners,
these babies stay put all day and then some and it is a great way to tap into the Emerald trend
without going all out!
My green shade choices would have to be either Graffiti or Mildew.
£13 via House of Fraser - link

6, Butter London do such great polishes and British Racing Green is my must have green
polish by such brand, yes the polishes are a little on the pricey side but I can not fault the formula.

7, Urban Decay do the best eyeshadows ever, if I was rich I'd buy one in every shade
and feel pretty smug with myself alas I am not so no smug face today.
If you buy one green eyeshadow let it be Urban Decay's Bender it is a great deep olive
green that works with every eye colour.

8, My last polish pick goes to Illasmasqua which are some of the best formulated polishes I have ever
experienced not to mention most are fairly original and unusual in colour.
For a great Emerald green shade you should really investigate Rampage.
