A few days ago I was grumbling about not being able to find my idea of the perfect pink lipstick
and while sifting through my stash I found a Calvin Klein lipstick which I had never opened,
I know, I know what a naughty beauty blogger I am but low and behold it is the pink I have dreamt of!

Some have said that Calvin Klein's newly re-branded packaging reminds them of pills,
I can see that but I have to admit that I like the ever so slightly clinical vibe.
My only minor packaging grumble is that the black part of the case is the same rubberised material
that Nars are famed for using which I do find that it gets grubby rather quickly but as it is nothing
a wet wipe can't solve I guess I shouldn't really complain.

Within the sort of newly re-launched Calvin Klein lipstick line there is a whopping 20 shades to pick from
and when I say there really is something for everyone I'm not exaggerating.
Shade 110 - Wow is a bright pink that has a slight red tone, make no mistake it is bold
and certainly not for the faint hearted.
As Wow is fairly neutral in undertone and well pigmented in my humble opinion it is suitable for all skin tones.
The bright true pink is of Wow is very similar to MAC's Impassioned but has less of a yellow undertone
and leans a smidgen more red but to the naked eye yes they are almost identical.

Wow offers full colour pay off but is slightly drying so you may want to combine it with a good lip balm
to prevent it drying out the lips or clinging to any dry areas.
I found Wow to be semi-matte in finish and not all that glossy but the benefits of this shade not being
all that hydrating is that it does not budge, no feathering or bleeding just great full coverage wear.
When this shade does begin to fade around the 4 hour mark it wears off to a bright even pink stain.
