I'm don't like to start a post with an apology but it is due.
I'm rather behind on comments and know that many have left a question or two,
life has been a little hectic the last few days so I haven't had any time to sit down and reply
but I will tonight, same applies for my now bulging mail box!
Now that is out of the way, on with the stash...
FACE
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation
I found a little unused bottle of this hiding in a travel bag while tidying up
and as I'm not off to anywhere nice or on any travels any time soon I thought I'd re-visit the formula.
I recall liking it but not hailing it a must have, now my skin has changed from being super oily to
almost normal I'm wondering if it will perhaps gleam different results?
Illamasqua Tremble Blush
I am purposely neglecting my coral and bronze toned blushes for pink shades so this makes the cut, admittedly it is not the pinkest of pinks but it is a step in the right direction.
NARS Satellite of Love Highlighter
I have not neglected this highlighter but as it is fairly new I do want to get plenty of use from it,
the light glowy, bronze peach shade is not only pretty but universal so it goes with most
blushes and skin tones.
The one item I can not recommend enough from the NARS Warhol collection.
LIPS
MAC Shanghai Spice Lipstick
I couldn't tell you the last time I have sported this shade which is such a shame as it is the perfect
blend of pink and brown with a hint of peach thanks to its yellow undertone.
This is a everyday shade and one I resolve to using more often!
Illamasqua Over Lipstick
Now don't get me wrong I deem Illamasqua to be a great brand that does blushes like no other
but I'm not in love with their matte formulated lipsticks.
At first I thought it was just me but it seems many agree that the matte formula is thick, heavy and dry,
which is a shame as the colour pay off and shade are beautiful so this week I plan on finding a way
to get this to work best for me.
MISC
MAC Nail Enamel in Everything That Glitters
Sadly as truly dazzling as this polish may appear in the bottle it dries to a matte finish
and then looses all of its pizazz, which is truly annoying as other online swatches show it to
be very different from what I have experienced!
This week I am going to play around with it and try to achieve a similar result without loosing my mind,
easier said that done eh?
Have you shopped your stash this weekend?
I really want to try the benefit foundation it looks great and the mac polish looks so pretty, great post!:)

That nail polish looks gorgeous! Such a pity you don't love it xxx
ReplyDeleteAnother highlighter is the last thing I need but Satellite Of Love is calling my name big time!
ReplyDeletexo
I love the look of the NARS Highlighter!
ReplyDeleteI tried the Benefit foundation at a counter and I wasn't all that impressed - it looked a little cakey on my skin but maybe that was down to the shade/person that applied it?! xx
amazing nail polish
ReplyDeleteThe Benefit foundation is amazing, but I really want to try the Nars highlighter! On the search for a good highlighter

A lot of people find that Illamasqua lipsticks tug on the lips. I'll find out for myself soon because I ordered two lipstick last week. x
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame about the nail polish, it looks amazing in the bottle! x
ReplyDeleteAngelica [One Little Vice]
I've heard such good things about the Nars highlighter. It looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have tried several Mac polishes and have not been happy with any of them. Not a fan of Hello Flawless either- not enough coverage and made my skin feel very oily.
ReplyDeleteNice picks from your collection. I adore NARS satellite of love and i am lusting over it at the moment in the hope that i would get it for christmas or something. I would love to try the Benefit hello flawless foundation because i want a foundation which could give me a slightly more dewy glow as opposed to my matte foundations :) Hope you enjoy using these products xxx
ReplyDeletethe nail polish looks amazing in the bottle, maybe you could try applying a glossy top coat on top to give it some shine?

Gorgeous polish :D
ReplyDeleteI agree with Illamasqua fabulous blushes but their lipsticks don't worth the price in my opinion...
The nail polish is a great colour! I would actually go into a shop and buy it. Also the red lipstick is such a nice shade I'm tempted to get that aswell haha. Also I love your blog! I only hope one day I get as popular as yours. Love it! x
ReplyDeleteAhh Tremble FINALLY came and I love it!! Very beautiful on paleys like me.
ReplyDeleteI have been wearing some of my Illamasqua lipsticks with a bit of Clinique's balm gloss thing in a tube on top. It's really thick though so I put some on the back of my hand before dabbing over the lipstick with my finger - much better! x
Aw that sounds like such a shame because the MAC nail varnish looks soo pretty in the bottle!!:-(

ReplyDeleteUgh that Nars Highliter looks gorgeous!! I must get my hands on it! Is it limited edition or permanent?
ReplyDeleteI've also been meaning to try some Illasmaqua blushes. I've got Naked Rose and Lover on my list already.
