Please excuse me for the lengthy title my first draft was Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Liners - The Best
High Street Eye Liners Invented Ever...Really!
So you dodged a bullet there but I do stand by the sentiment, as these liners truly do blow any other high street competitors out of the water and in my eyes are on par with Urban Decay's 24/7 eye liners,
yes they really are that good!
I don't want to dwell too much on the packaging but in a nutshell basically they are plastic pencils that are colour coordinated to match the liners lead shade, that are easy to sharpen as they are plastic and not wooden so it shaves effortlessly with less waste.
The two newest shades to my collection are 001 Black which is a deep true black that does not pull blue
or grey which can often be the case with lesser pigmented liners.
If you are a fan of black liner I'm going to have to insist that you rush out and add this to your collection,
you can thank me later (you should know I winked as I typed that).
The other shade I have is 010 Silver which admittedly is not a colour I would go for off the bat
but if like myself you have oily lids and find eyeshadow to crease/smear this is a great highlight shade.
You can also use the silver tone in the same way you would a white/nude eye liner to open
and brighten the eyes but with a slightly festive ring.
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Liners have to be one of the creamiest and easiest to apply that I have encountered in a long, long time.
They glide on not only the lid but also any of the lash lines and the water line without any problems
and as it is a waterproof formula it does cling to the skin and wears very well.
Now I'm not going to lie and say it wears all day but when worn on the lid as an eye base
I get around 8 hours of wear and around the same maybe slightly shy of the 8 hours on both of my
lash lines and around 4 hours on my waterline but my eyes do have a terrible habit of watering.
If you are looking for a good all round eye pencil the Scandal Eyes are well worth picking up
and blow many high end formulas out of the water!
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Pencils retail for £3.99/1.2g and are available from
both Superdrug and Boots and most Rimmel stockists.
I just love the texture of these. i've got the nude but have my eye on the black and taupe.

Rimmel has some great products. I love their lipsticks also.

Wow, I need to try them out o: !
ReplyDeleteI love my urban decay 24/7 liner and my YSL waterproof eyeliner but i find that they are so expensive to keep on repurchasing! This however is such a great alternative and they are probably equally as good to use but at a fraction of the price tag :) I adore creamy pencils that are waterproof because my eyes tend to get quite watery due to wearing contact lenses and i hate smudging and becoming a panda! not a good look :) Its christmas soon and this posts gives me the idea to try out sparkly silver liner on my eyes to add that something special to the look. Thanks for sharing and reviewing xxx
ReplyDeleteThe silver looks great. I have used the black one and I have to agree it is the best high street eyeliner out that!
