I was recently contacted by Voucher Codes and presented with information that suggests
that the average 16-24 year old spends in excess of £110 on beauty products in order to get party ready
for the festive season!

That is a crazy amount and you can save yourself some well earned cash by turning your bedroom
and/or bathroom into a home spa...dig out your fluffiest bath robe as I'm about share some wonderful
products all of which are under ten pound each and will give you at home instant beautification!

1, First of all you want to set the mood so put on the kettle and light a candle.
For yummy flavoured tea may I suggest Flint & Co Tea my personal favourite is Indian Spiced Chai
and here is the cool part it is the brain child of an actual vicar...very cool! Find out more/buy here - link.
At the moment I am rather enamoured with best kept secret candles which have something for
every budget and in my opinion are some of the most gorgeous candles around - link.

2, Next up is bath or shower time and for luxurious locks I do enjoy L'Oreal's Extraordinary oil
which I like to use as a pre-shampoo treatment but you can also use it to repair damage and as a finishing touch...I do love a good multi-tasker. - link

Speaking of multi-tasking products one of my favourite ever bath and body products can not only be used
in the typical shower gel sense but also as a shaving foam. If you have yet to experience Rituals Yogi Flow
Foaming Shower Gel you are really missing out as it is the most beautiful shower product ever! - link

To keep skin looking fresh, young and glowing a good body scrub is essential and as we are getting into
the Christmas spirit around here I feel I should recommend Next's Sugar Scrub nit only is it efficient in removing dead skin but it is also visually stunning in all its gold glory.
I like to use this as part of my self tanning routine but more on that later. - link

Now I get that not everyone likes to self tan but if self tanning is your thing then may I recommend Crazy Angels Self Tanning Lotion, it is tinted with a guide colour to ensure streak free results.
I like to use the Midnight Kiss variety which gives a medium to dark result and is great for making
legs appear slimmer than they actually are which is never a bad thing. - link

3, What would a night on the tiles be without some glitzy, glam make-up.
Now I know we all have different preferences and colourings so I have tried to ensure everything I feature below suits all.

I think most of us will agree that we feel oodles better with groomed brows?
Well Look Beauty Brow Perfect has to be the most comprehensive budget brow kit out there,
it contains all you need and more for perfectly shaped and tamed brows including stencils,
an abundance of shades to fill, tweezers to pluck and a dinky tube of gel to set brows - link.

In my opinion a good lip stain is a must for the festive period as it wears much longer than
a typical lipstick, who knows when a naughty spring of mistletoe may spring up...wink, wink.
My current favourite lip stain is Rimmel's 100 Kisses Lip Stain in the shade Don't Stop Blushing,
which is the perfect blend of pink and red.- link

Christmas is the season of glitter nail polish and my current favourite high street offering is Rimmel's
Precious Stones in Diamond Dust which is tinted and settles to a matte finish which is pretty rare for
a glitter nail polish. - link

If you ask me the festive period is the perfect excuse to let loose and try out some slightly out there cosmetic products, if that sounds like you may I suggest Bourjois Miss Couture False Eye Lashes which are
a collaboration with Paperself.
The dainty lashes can be cut or worn in full for a really pretty effect that will ensure you stand out from the crowd.- link

Who said glitter is only for your nails?
For easy peasy full on glitter eye make-up without the annoying fall out element you simply must try
out the new Violent Eyes Temporary tattoos, I really can't think of anything more perfect for
a New Years Eve party can you? - link

What beauty products do you rate highly for the party season?
