Last Sunday I posted about using Neutrogena Visible Clear Blackhead Eliminating Scrub
and a good few of you left questions about it so a thought a review was long over due.
I must stress than unlike the directions suggest I do not use this daily, I find it too abrasive
and it tends to upset my skin when used frequently but that's not to say that it won't work for you.
I use this when my skin feels it needs a deep cleanse, I'm quite loyal to face masks but every now
and then my skin needs a good, deep down cleanse to rid it of all impurities.
Neutrogena Visible Clear Blackhead Eliminating Scrub is a thick, creamy scrub with tiny little orange beads
that gently buff and exfoliate the skin and in turn remove excess oil, unclogs the pores as well as generally
cleansing the skin and leaving it looking a little brighter.
Does it work?
Yes it does, it unclogs the pores but will not shrink them but it does give the illusion of smaller pores
over time, my one grumble is that I find when I use this scrub that I tend to wake up the next day with
a few blemishes on my problem areas - cheeks, t-zone.
I believe this may be because it brings everything to the surface of the skin and in turn a few blemishes
are unavoidable in my case.
I can't comment on the black head issue as it is the one skin complaint I do not have but for a through
cleanse of the pores I do recommend it.

I'm actually a big fan of Neutrogena products, my favorite being the 2-in-1 Wash and Mask, which has always done wonders for my sensitive, spot-prone skin.
ReplyDeleteI really would like to find something that actually works on my blackheads though. I get a lot on my nose and chin so may have to try this :)

Anything that may cause any blemishes I tend to stay away from. My Clarisonic does an amazing job of cleaning my pores and buffing my skin. Think I'll just stick with that.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I was actually on this long list of people with questions;))
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great product, looks similar to the St Ives Apricot Scrub which I love! I will be going a review on that on my blog in a couple of days xxx
