It only took around 50 posts for me to finally realise that large stash rotations aren't for
me and the key is to keep it small...well if you are me anyway.
With that in mind this weeks stash is perhaps the smallest I have ever selected!
Face
Smashbox O-Glow Gel Blush
At first I was enamoured by the novelty factor (it changes shade depending on your skin tone)
but it is a great long wearing blush that does go rather pink on me initially but once blended out
it gives a healthy flush that lasts all day.
Collection 2000 Fix Me Up Long Lasting Make-up Fixer
I have tried this a few times and really didn't get on with it at all
I found it to be sticky and did nothing for me in terms of prolonging my make-up
yet my friend swears by it so i'm giving it one more chance!
Lips
MAC Spring '13 Forecast Lip Palette
This looked so perfect when I bought it but now it's had some use it's not quite as pristine.
The reason I have picked this palette over individual lipsticks is to help me decide if I want to de-pot
all my MAC lipsticks into palettes or not...eek!
Eyes
NARS Carpates Eyeliner Stylo
I really want to like liquid liners but can never fully get on board with them and always think when using
one that it would be so much better if it was in gel form so I'm going to try my hardest to get to grips
with liquid formula's in general!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Liner in Nude
This week I want to make more of an effort with my eye make-up
and I feel that it is almost necessary to pop this on my water line for bigger, brighter eyes!
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
There was a time where I would use this daily but over time it has fallen by the way side
and I worry that if I don't begin using it once use more that it will dry up and be of use to no-one
so yes basically I am including this of guilt.
Great post, that lip palette looks so cool :)

I use my MAC painterly every single day still and it's still not dried up in the slightest. I'd like to buy Constructivist next as it looks like a great Autumn shade and would be fab on it's own. The Rimmel nude liner is fabulous, i'm so glad I finally managed to get it!

I really like that MAC lip palette! It's cute! I didn't realise they did lip palettes xo
ReplyDeleteNeed that lip palette in my life!
ReplyDeletegreat post!
ReplyDeleteI would like to try the MAC paint pots! xx
I have to use my Painterly paint pot as my eye base, although regardless of how much I use it, it never ever seems to go down. Really debating whether to get the Mac lip palette after seeing your review... but then again I have too many Mac lipsticks. Although how many is too many xxx
ReplyDeleteThe lip palette looks gorgeous, Love the shades!

I find Smashbox to be terrible - it's all siliconey and just sits on my face and the minute I touch my face or go out into the rain, it just slides straight off. It just doesn't last :(
ReplyDeleteI love your shopping the stash posts :) I get to discover new products and a little bit about them. I am drooling over that gorgeous MAC lip palette~ but i know that after a few uses, it will just annoy me because it would get quite messy and dirty. I'm also contemplating on getting the NARS liquid eyeliner because it has many good reviews on it :) Thanks for sharing xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the lip colour set! Want to try a orangey or peachy colour! Xxx
ReplyDeleteI agree about the Collection 2000 Fix Me Up. I got in a beauty box, and do not get on with it at all. I found it sprayed out blobs of gooey mess and ruined my foundation!

I don't know why but I have never been a fan of lip palettes. Maybe I just like the application of a regular lipstick in a stick form.
ReplyDeleteI love the Nude pencil for bright eyes, it's great for on a morning

You'll be so glad you rediscovered the Painterly Paint Pot, I swear by it!

I've been eyeing that Rimmel Kohl Liner for quite some time now- basic but essential to have in your make-up bag I think :)
