Malin + Goetz Rum Tonic EDT - Review

Monday, October 29, 2012

I've saw various things here and there about Malin + Goetz but mainly it is praise for the
Rum Tonic scent, be it the fragranced candle or the eau de toilette it seems no-one can get enough.
At the moment i'm very much going through a scent period where new fragrant products is
all I can think of, which is very unlike me as I'm normally an Alien by Thierry Mugler gal.

With that in mind I decided to skip the candle (shock, horror!) but don't worry it is on the wish list
and hopefully should grace my bedroom with its beautiful scent some time soon.
Speaking of beautiful scents I had no idea I could fall so hard and fast for a rum based fragrance,
I had connotations of it being dark, sticky and dare I say it sickly but it is not in the slightest
it is in fact light yet sexy, warm yet fresh and unlike anything I have ever encountered.
It has a freshness that makes it suitable for day wear yet a slight woody depth that translates
well as an evening scent, basically it is perfect and suitable for any time, anywhere!

Malin + Goetz Rum Tonic doesn't look like much in the bottle in fact it looks a little like a face serum
but one gentle spritz of the eau de toilette and I bet you will fall in love.
It is a unisex scent but in my opinion it is better suited to women,
if you are looking for something a little different in terms of  fragrance then I do recommend this 100%
but be warned you will be that weirdo who is sniffing them self at every given opportunity!

  1. I never thought I would like rum scents but I've really fallen for them. Mainly the Philosophy Hot Buttered Rum Bubble Bath. I'll have to have a look at this next time I'm in town.
