A few posts back I shared that Liz Earle would be releasing a special edition Cleanse and Polish
facial cleanser in conjunction with the Princes Trust and one of their entrepreneurs Rebecca Taylor.
The formula of Cleanse and Polish has remained the same but simply has been given a little twist
in the form of the addition of rose and lavender essential oils.
As mentioned the formula is the exact same as the original Cleanse and Polish
but I appreciate that not everyone will have tested any Liz Earle product let alone Cleanse and Polish
so it is best that I give a quick run down of the texture and how the product is best used.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is thick cream hot cloth cleanser that you apply to dry skin
and gently massage into the skin using circular movements, you then use a wet, warm muslin cloth
to remove the product and in turn remove dirt, make-up and general grime from your face and neck.
Sadly I am allergic to one of the main ingredients that constructs Cleanse and Polish - Cocoa Butter
but I have asked a trusted friend to test out the newest addition to the Liz Earle line up for you all!
My friend reported that Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is one of the best facial cleansers she has ever experienced, it easily removes all traces of make-up and general dirt and grime while leaving her skin
soft, calmed and nourished. Much like myself she has oily skin and felt that this product can allow
her to occasionally skip moisturiser as it lightly hydrates the skin while cleansing,
which is great if in a hurry or simply forgetful like she is!
With the addition of the Rose and Lavender natural oils to the limited edition Cleanse and Polish
has a slightly different scent to the original product which is dreamy yet fresh.
I find the two oils to complement one and other perfectly to be soothing yet beautifully floral
making this the perfect choice for evening cleansing!
The special addition Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish* will hit the shelves on the 6th of September
and £2 from each sale will go directly to aiding The Princes Trust vital work!
Will you be purchasing?
Ahh I love the packaging, and the fact it contains Rose and Lavender very tempted to purchase, but C&P doesn't like my skin and breaks me out :(. But nevertheless, still a lovely product and I love the fact £2 from each sale will go towards Prince's Trust :).
ReplyDeleteah that sucks but kudos to you for trying it and I completely agree :) I think £2 is really generous :)
DeleteI'll definitely want to try this as rose and lavender are two of my favourite scents and I love the original x

DeleteI really want to try this! I think I am going to purchase even though I still already have two bottles of the original C&P to get through! It's really good that they give £2 from each sale to charity though :)

Haha gosh you have a stockpile but at least it doesn't go off and you'll always have some to hand :)
DeleteI've just ordered my first ever bottle after reading so much about it! Not the lavender one though- I simply cannot stand lavender! Ashamed to say I don't use cleanser but as I'm ageing, I need to invest in a proper routine I feel! Here's hoping this is my HG!
ReplyDeleteI have my fingers crossed for you :)
