Revlon is one of the best brands on the high street and I will fight anyone who says differently,
I'm kidding I'm not that feisty but I do strongly feel that Revlon lead rather than follow
and that their collections are pretty much consistent with a reasonable price tag.
The summer collection has not disappointed with cream blushes, new gloss shades and new lip stains
which seem to be rocking the socks off of many a beauty addict!

Today I'm going to share two of the newest additions to the Colorburst lip gloss line
kicking off with a milky must have - Bellini.

For a drugstore brand the packaging is faultless,
it is sleek with a subtle nudge to the mother ship that is Chanel
thanks to the quilted engraving on the lid.
The clear tubing makes it a breeze to spy what shade is housed inside
and the doe foot applicators is slightly better than the bog standard versions
due it to it being flat and super flexible.
That being said I would still prefer a brush time applicator
but we can't win every battle!

Revlon Bellini is a light milky peach toned gloss that has a hint of pink in terms of tone,
I would say it is fairly cool in tone but as it is a gloss I wouldn't worry about it too much!
Bellini on it's own tones down the natural lip shade and gives a light peach hint of colour
with a dazzling shine, making it the perfect shade to slick over lipstick.
In my opinion this is a very good dupe for Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss,
in the tube Nars Turkish Delight is slightly more pink on tone but when on the lips they
gleam the same result!

Oh hello random cat hair on my lip!

I bet you are wondering why I am so fond of Revlon Colour Burst lipglosses?
Well unlike my past experiences with lipgloss, (which are so far from positive it is unreal)
these aren't sticky in the slightest and are comfortable to wear, which is a complete first for me!
They feel creamy, moisturising and light, basically a complete joy to wear.
They do however preform like any other lipgloss you'll achieve high shine finish
but very much like a typical lipgloss the wear is typically short 1-2 hours max!
Generally they aren't the most pigmented lip products on the market but they do deliver a hint of a tint
and are fragrance free, great for those who have sensitive noses and hate strongly scented lip products.
