We have reached the favourite part of any make-up collection - the blushes and my, my, my does MAC
Heavenly Creatures not disappoint with four beautiful blushes that are tiny works of art contained within a small black pot! MAC Heavenly Creatures is MAC's annual large Mineralize launch and one I strongly recommend having a browse of as the powder items are breathtaking!

Heavenly Creatures only launched yesterday via MAC's online store so there is still plenty of time to snap up
any item you have seen reviewed and can't live without and remember even if something is sold out via MAC's web store that SelfridgesDebenhams and House of Frazer all stock MAC and there is also the option of popping into your local MAC store which normally get the collection up to a week later than the online launch.

I recall this first popping up online and thinking wow "I must have this!" partly because it was pink and sparkly
and partly because it reminded me of a Lush Bath product.
Anyway Supernova is described as melange of Magenta and burnished gold which is really apt,
the magenta shade dominates both in pan and when swatched/applied.

Applied it is a deep reddened pink with a slight golden sheen, it is highly pigmented
so light to medium skin tones should use with a light hand but deep tones will not have any problems with the pigmentation wise as it layers beautifully, finish wise it has more of a satin blush than it is frost.

The blush has a lovely texture that applies and blends well without any fuss, the formula is most akin to a frost based blush but I do not find them to be problematic in terms of large pores or fine lines but do recommend skipping highlighter with such formulas to avoid being overly luminous haha!
In terms of wear this type of formula typically fairs for around 7 hours on my oily skin type.
