We have reached the favourite part of any make-up collection - the blushes and my, my, my does MAC
Heavenly Creatures not disappoint with four beautiful blushes that are tiny works of art contained within a small black pot! MAC Heavenly Creatures is MAC's annual large Mineralize launch and one I strongly recommend having a browse of as the powder items are breathtaking!

Heavenly Creatures only launched yesterday via MAC's online store so there is still plenty of time to snap up
any item you have seen reviewed and can't live without and remember even if something is sold out via MAC's web store that Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Frazer all stock MAC and there is also the option of popping into your local MAC store which normally get the collection up to a week later than the online launch.

MAC Rings of Saturn is listed as being as a melange of terracotta and gold and I have to disagree, it is a blush complied of swirls of rosy plum and bright yellow pink that when blended together form a true rose gold shade that has a frost finish and is ideal for almost every skin tone due to it's yellow gold undertone.
Personally this is my favourite shade of the four and one I can see myself picking up a back up of.

Applied/swatched Ring of Saturn is very similar to NARS Orgasm and Sleek Make-Up's Rose Gold
so if you have either you may want to skip this but I do feel that it is better formulated than both the dupes
and offers greater pigmentation making it the perfect choice for medium to dark skin tones.

The blush has a lovely texture that applies and blends well without any fuss, the formula is most akin to a frost based blush but I do not find them to be problematic in terms of large pores or fine lines but do recommend skipping highlighter with such formulas to avoid being overly luminous haha!
In terms of wear this type of formula typically fairs for around 7 hours on my oily skin type.
