With festival season now fully in swing I would like to share a few festival inspired posts today!
Before I begin I would like to state that my inspiration for this post came from the most recent issue of Company Magazine - I truly believe credit should always be given and isn't Company a great read?
The original recipe/guide was to create face paint but I have jazzed it up a little with the addition of glitter!
Ingredients
Cold cream or any facial moisturiser
Corn Flour
Natural food colourants or broken eyeshadows/blushes or loose pigment type make-up products
Empty small storage pots with lids
Cosmetic grade glitter
How To:
The process is really straight forward basically I mixed 2 tablespoons of facial moisturiser
with one tablespoon of cornflour and stirred to a light pourable paste.
If your concoction is a little thick you can thin it out by adding a little water.
Next I combined such paste with some old crushed eyeshadows and stirred until it formed an even colour.
This stage and the next can be a little messy so I do suggest doing this on top of paper.
After that I sprinkled in a little glitter, stirred once more and ta-dah you are good to go!
As Company Magazine suggests when not in use ensure the lid is firmly on and store in a dry, cool place.
Are you heading to any festivals this year?
Oooh this looks good, I'm going to a Gaga themed night out soon so will have to do this for her lightning thing.

DeleteSuch a good idea. Me and my friends are poor so just going to some local small festivals this year- but I'm sure we'll rock the glitter look at them :)
