even 24 hours after you put it on.
Daily use helps fortify and repair skin's moisture barrier to keep moisture in, environmental irritants out.
Better barrier, happier skin.
For drier skins, or others dehydrated by air travel, parched climate, indoor heating/air conditioning,
apply morning and night after your 3-Step regimen.
Can also be applied as needed under sun protection/makeup. Avoid eye area."
Every now and then my skin just feels blurghhh...yep that is a proper medical term.
Jokes aside although I don't suffer from dry skin, my skin does go through phases of feeling dehydrated
and in the need of something hydrating yet light weight and for those days I have been applying
Clinique's newest moisturiser - Clinique Moisture Surge Intense, I know this is fairly new to Clinique
counters and their web stores but I have been using it on and off since February.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense is a light oil free gel moisturiser that should be suitable for most skin types
including oily as it is light, hydrating but does not overwhelm the skin.
Personally I really enjoy gel products they absorb so well into my skin and leave behind no residue.
I find it to cool the skin when applied and instantly leaves my skin feeling baby soft.
As mentioned I don't use this everyday just when I feel the need for a little skin boost,
it's great for when you have had a day in the sun (few and far between I know)
or when the heating has been on all day and your skin feels really tight and parched.
I do want to mention that I have oily skin hence why I don't use this daily but if you have dry skin
this could be a really great product for everyday use.
I haven't tested it after flying yet but can imagine it will work well
and will be picking up a new pot in duty free with any luck haha!

If you like the original it is one to invest in :)
DeleteThis morning I thought to myself that I want an extra step in my nighttime routine, after serum or oil, and loved the way the original moisture surge used to feel. However, I had no idea there was an intense version, so this review couldn't of come at a better time - I will DEFINITELY be getting this my lovely x
ReplyDeleteHaha I love when that happens so glad I could help :) it is a lovely product it feels so light and lovely on the skin :)
DeleteI absolutely LOVE this moisturiser, it's the only product that sorts my face out on holiday cos I get super dry skin from all the sun and sun cream :0(

It is fab isn't it! I'm going to get one for holiday too as the sun plays havoc with my skin.

I keep meaning to write up my review for this (I've had it for months now) but you beat me to it! I honestly only noticed a slight improvement of this over the original formulation - and it still leaves that weird sticky residue on my face. Sigh. The search goes on!
