St Ives Apricot Scrub is the UK's best selling scrub brand.
I'm not at all surprised by that as nearly everyone I know has used this at some point in their lives
and that surprisingly includes men!
Like most scrubs it is of course gritty in texture and gently exfoliates the dull surface cells
to reveal bright, smooth and radiant skin in an instant.
St Ives Apricot scrub is mild enough to use daily but for best results use 3/4 times weekly.
I really enjoy using it at night to slough off the day and all it's grim,
I have used this on and off for years without any complaints or break outs
but St Ives now do a sensitive and blemish versions of this scrub so their is something suited
to most skin types and you can also buy St Ives scrubs in travel size versions too!
Tip - If you are a fan of self tanners this removes stubborn tan marks like no other!
I'm not a massive fan of using cleansing wipes but there is no denying that they have their uses!
If I do use facial wipes they have to be moist, generous in size, gentle yet effective
and I can safely say that St Ives Refreshing Cleansing wipes tick such boxes!
Each pack has 35 wipes which is more than most brands and they cleanse and tone the skin in one step,
removing all make-up including waterproof mascara.
They are alcohol free, with a fresh scent and do not sting the skin or the delicate eye area
and as much as it pains me to say this about a facial wipe...they are really effective
removing every trace of my heavy foundation and eye make-up without irritating me or my skin.
I will be keeping a pack of these in my bag and side table for those make-up removing emergencies
aka when I've had one too many cocktails
Tip - Keep a pack in your everyday bag, you never know when you may need them.
They are also great for cleaning sticky hands which if like myself you have a penchant for ice lollies
you will thank me later.
St Ives is stocked in most drugstore and UK supermarkets,
I find Superdrug to have the best variety - link

Nothing compares to the St Ives scrub, totally swear by them and they leave my normally dry skin so nice and refreshed. The wipes look really interesting too, will certainly have to keep a look out for those!

aww thank you :) which one do you use?
DeleteI loved this the first few times using it but unfortunately I broke out REALLY badly at the end of my first week using it :( Never had any problems with my skin before, but I guess it's just one of those things. Took a week for my skin to clear up afterwards :( Devastating x
ReplyDeleteAww i'm sorry to hear that but like you said sadly some things aren't for everyone...i've had similar experiences with products that people love to and it sucks :(
DeleteI love the wipes they are fanastic, I use them everyday:)

DeleteSt. Ives Apricot scrub is THE BEST. i think i've been using it since i was in puberty!!!
ReplyDeleteSt Ives Apricot is my #1 favorite and the one skincare product I swear by.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to disagree on this one, it's okay but Dead Sea Spa Magik Mild Exfoliant is much better!
ReplyDeleteI used St Ives scrub religiously but it's only in the last coupe of years that I haven't repurchased. I thought it was decent but didn't really notice a difference in my skin. Smells lovely though xx
ReplyDeleteI've been using St. Ives scrubs since I used to steal them from my mom as a pre-teen. I've gone to other scrubs occasionally, but they just aren't as good! St. Ive's is the best!
ReplyDeleteI love the apricot scrub and my boyfriend actually uses it too! It smells gorgeous, and leaves skin so smooth!
ReplyDeleteI also tend to use it the day after fake tanning on my elbows and knees. It works wonders.
The wipes sound quite good so might have to give them a go :)
