and as a sucker for lilac nails I just had to snap one up!
Revlon Charming is a pale cool toned lilac that has a strong white presence,
it is very alike to Opi Rumble's Wiggin' which is slightly more expensive
so a great cheaper alternative!
I found Charming to be a little more trickier to apply than a normal Revlon nail polish,
as it was rather pale it applied quite streaky and did require three coats for full even coverage
but in my opinion it is worth it for the shade alone.
The brush is big and wide so application streaks aside is really straight forward.
Revlon polishes are one of the better wearing formulas on the high street,
even without a top or base coat I can easily get three/four days of wear from a Revlon polish.
With a top and base coat you will more than likely get a full weeks wear,
perhaps with a little tip wear but all in all a great wearing formula!
Revlon Charming Nail Polish £6.49/14ml available from most Revlon stockists
such as Boots - link
that's a lovely colour!xx

Which types of skin tone would you say this suits? I find some pastel shades to be tricky on my warm skin! xx
ReplyDeleteOoh how odd, my bottle of Revlon Charming was opaque in 2 thin coats and didn't streak at all, and my brush is super duper thin! Ah well. Looks lovely on your tanned skin! xx

ReplyDeletePretty! I just bought Revlon's whimsical today and I'm so excited to try it. I really like their polishes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous summer colour. Slightly lighter and more creamy looking than the MUA U Rok shade. Want to try this but I wonder if it'll actually work with my skin tone. x
ReplyDeleteI tried topshop nails in Parma violet recently which is a gorgeous lilac shade... It also took a few coats to build opacity but the colour is worth it xxx http://www.whatabeauty.co.uk
