When it comes to lipbalm I’m strictly a Carmex lady,
I could sing it’s healing praises all day long but as I’m tone deaf I shall save you from such woeful song!
That being said so many of my friends swear by Blistex and use nothing else
so when I saw a new tinted addition to the line I simply had to snap it up and test it.

Blistex Lip Brilliance has a strong sweet strawberry scent that I quite like
but I appreciate that it may be a little too artificial for some tastes.
It glides on really easily, feels moisturising on the lips and soothes
but doesn’t tint my lips at all which disappointed me as I was under the impression it
would tint them to some extent?
In bullet form it looks a deep red pink hue with shimmer particles,
yet on the lips it translates to nothing not even a high glossy finish hence the lack of swatches!


The moisturising qualities are great but if you are after a tinted or shimmery lip balm
then I really don’t recommend this as it does neither!
For he time being I will be sticking with my trusty Carmex
