The newest release by Sleek Make-Up is a range of trio blush palettes
that are limited edition in selected Superdrug stores until mid April
but permanently at the London Marble Arch store and via Sleek Make-Up's webstore - link.
I hope that helps clarify things a little?
As with the majority of Sleek Make-Up products this comes neatly presented in a matte black case,
although it stores 3 well sized blushes the compact is fairly hand sized and small enough to travel with.
The little blush palette also has a decent sized mirror housed inside for on the go touch ups!
"Blush by 3 is a trio shade blush palette that takes you effortlessly from day to night!
Each palette has 3 ultra pigmented shades to choose from in matte and shimmer shades.
Use the matte shades for a subtle day time flush,
and add the shimmery shade over the top for a touch of night time glamour!
With 5 different shaded palettes to choose from , your only dilemma is which one to pick!
Choose from Pink Sprint, Pumpkin, Lace, Flame, or Sugar."
Sugar consists of three shades :
Turbinado - Is a mid almost deep dirty orange shade, perhaps best described as a blend of orange
and brown? This is a matte shade and not chalky but not as pigmented as the shimmer shade.
Muscovado - Appears as a reddened bronze shade that has a slight plum leaning.
This shade is really pigmented and although a shimmer shade it is subtle and easy to wear.
Demerara - Is a deep red with a brown undertone and best listed as a terracotta shade.
The other matte shade which again is not chalky but not as pigmented as the shimmer formula.
For me this trio is better suited to those with medium to deep skin tones as the shades are quite deep
in tone and really pigmented that they may be a tad overwhelming on those with pale skins.
However that is just a suggestion I am a firm believer in wearing what ever the heck you feel like!
The three shades do lean slightly warm and have an air of summer/warm weather about them.
Sleek Make-Up blushes are soft but not overly so,
they apply with ease but don't break/shatter if like myself you are a little heavy handed.
I found the formula to be easy to apply and blend out with a normal angled blush brush,
there was next to no fall out and as mentioned the shimmer shade has a subtle effect
- no glitter or gritty finish/feel.
In terms of wear this wore just as any other Sleek MakeUp facial product
and survived a good six hours on un-primed oily skin in the current heat wave
but when used with primer it lasted a full nine hours with ease.
Product Summary
Round Up - Three bronze type blush shades in one handy palette.
Best For - In my opinion I have found this trio better suited to those with deeper skin tones.
Pigmentation - Hard to rate as the matte formula is less pigmented than the shimmer one.
Oooh!! I'm CRAZY for Flame and Pink Sprint... But its prize buying online with shipping cost is too high...
ReplyDeleteAww that sucks if you ever want a spanish swap you know where I am :)
DeleteOh that's gutting... I swatched the Lace palette (only one I found to be suited to my skintone) and it was just a chalky mess. I know none of the others would even come close to suiting me :( I've noticed not a lot of people have mentioned these are smaller than the regular blushes which yeah isn't a big deal when you're getting three but I think I'd rather choose three individuals I know I'll love.
ReplyDeleteThat is the one I really want to try but I may pass after hearing that. Yeah if none catch your eye you are better to pick up a few sleek blushes you know you'd love :)
DeleteI'm using a Sleek blusher at the moment, the name of which is currently escaping me. Shame this palatte didn't suit your skin type. I swear by Sleek's blushers though - find they are one of the best out there.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree sleek blushes are one of the best formulas out there! :)
DeleteI want this, my wish list is getting far too long xx

haha mine too!
DeleteI love how you put the products name sake with it - like you put all your lip butters with lollipops etc... I think its a really great touch. Might have said this before but I still think it.
ReplyDeleteI've looked at these pallets and none jump out - I thought I would want sugar but I wish the orange was a peach aand the terracotta shade? a more natural flush colour. I love the middle colour though. It's really similar to rose gold which i am told is an orgasm dupe...
great post xoxox
thank you so much you are too kind :)
Deletethe only ones that really speak to me are pumpkin (I love peaches) and lace but I want to see them in person before I buy. Have you checked out sleeks individual blushes? Maybe you'd like them better? :)
I don't know why buy none of these trio palettes are applealing to me. They look far to red or orange and there a no soft pink options. :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day they'll release some lighter options :)
DeleteLove this palette! This looks like one of the easiest to wear :) x

Gorgeous! Going to order the Lace one from their website next month, probably will take ages to get delivered to South America, still can't hold back my excitement!
ReplyDeleteIsabela
I hope your wait isn't too long :)
DeleteI saw these palettes in Superdrug this morning but they were sold out of Sugar. They're all so BRIGHT! I would be very tempted to buy if there was a more subtle colourway for paler skins...but given the amount of other stuff I splurged on today maybe it is for the best!
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will heed this and release some new colour ways later on in the year?
DeleteHaha did you haul I take it?
I've been really wanting to try a sleek blsuher for a while but I haven't been able to settle on a colour, this product might have fixed that problem :D

DeleteThey look lovely, but too poppy in my oppinion :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe in the summer it will be more wearable :)
DeleteOoh, I don't think I have seen Sugar yet... this looks like a lovely palette, all the others have at least one shade that I don't like or don't think would suit me :/
