New this April for Spring is L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate scent and line of lip products.
Pivoine Delicate combines the softness of Rose petals and Peony
blended with the green transparency of Lily of the Valley for a soft floral
with a powdery soft trail.
All of the items in the L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate range are beautifully presented in pastel pink boxes
with beautiful floral illustrations that will pretty up any dresser or make-up bag!
The lipstick is housed inside a rather pretty floral pink cardboard case
and is one of the nicest Spring releases I have seen thus far.
The cardboard is sturdy so I wouldn't worry about damaging it
but I don't recommend getting it wet...not that you would.
The L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate line sees the release of three lipstick shades,
I have shade 02 L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate - the name sake of the collection.
L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate is a mid toned pink with a strong yellow undertone
that gives it a light peachy/brown tone.
On my lips it is a really natural shade and is what I personally class a my lips but better hue.
Speaking of hues this is rather like Mac Hue so fans of such shade may enjoy this?
All in all a really nice easy to wear shade that has a light glossy finish.
I found the formula of the L'Occitane lipstick to be neither drying nor hydrating
but comfortable and light to wear none the less.
It does however highlight dry patches so exfoliate before using if like I you have a dry lips.
The lipstick is fairly soft in formula and glides on with ease,
it does not bleed or flake and as it is a light shade I wouldn't worry about a liner
unless you really feel the need for such methods.
Personally I didn't find the pigmentation mind blowing but it wasn't meek either
just average which works well with the light formula.
L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate is not scented and taste free
and wore for around two hours before fading.

Me too :)
DeleteI like the color for this, but if it highlights dry patches no amount of exfoliation could save me.
ReplyDeleteAww that sucks :(
DeleteThe lipstick tube and colour looks gorgeous! I love the photos by the way. :) xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteI like the colour of the lipstick and the packaging is also really cute... Kinda Paul & Joe-esque?! :)
ReplyDeleteYes that is what I thought too :)
DeleteYou mentioned exfoliating your lips before wearing this, so I was wondering if you had any recommendations for products like that, as I am in need of one :D
ReplyDeleteI normally just use an old tooth brush and a little lip balm and scrub away :) I don't really rate the lush lip scrubs as all they are is overpriced sugar!
DeletePackaging is so gorgeous and feminine
ReplyDeleteThis packaging is adorable :) I always tell myself that the packaging doesn't matter as long as the product is good! But I'm just fooling myself! The packaging of a product makes such a big difference!
