I love how easy they are to apply and blend
and they seem to work amazingly well with my oily skin.
What is not to adore?
Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick's come beautifully presented in a chrome silver tube,
the blush itself has a screw up mechanism (very much like a lipstick) so you don't waste any product.
It is weighted for ease of application and the lid of each blush comes with a colour coordinated accent!
All in all a very swankily packaged blush stick from Clinque.
Shy Blush is officially described as "a pinky violet" which I don't really agree with.
Yes it has a slight pink tone but I can see no traces of violet.
Yes it has a slight pink tone but I can see no traces of violet.
Shy Blush has a firm shot of brown albeit yellow in tone too.
The shade is a very natural bronze pink that will work on most light-medium colourings
but I do fear it may be a little to light for deeper skin shades.
I found Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick's to be super soft to the touch
they glide on with such ease and blend like a dream!
The pigmentation is decent but completely buildable should you so desire.
Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick deliver a veil of transparent colour so it always looks natural,
no matter how you decide to wear it - built up or not!
The formula dries down to a lovely dewy finish, giving the skin a light glow.
As with most cream blushes these may be a little troublesome on dry skin
as the colour may cling to the dry patches so perhaps these are best for normal-oily skin types.
In terms of wear I managed around 6 hours which is the average for me with cream formulas,
before any signs of wear appeared.

It looks great. Loving the packaging though I'm not usually a Clinique fan. May have to swatch this one in store x

Deleteyeah i'd wait until the dryness goes and then pick up one :)
Oooh I'm keen to try this. Pretty much the only cream blushes I've used are Bobbi Brown and I love them but I feel like I should branch out and try something new. I love the packaging of this and the pay off looks quite good. I will have to go swatching! I just love the way cream formulas can look beautifully dewy with very little effort!
ReplyDeleteYou'll love this if you like the BB ones :) yes I love that about cream blushes too :)
DeleteThe dewy finish sounds lovely! Also like that it is buildable. :) Thanks for all the effort you put into these posts Adrienne!
