It's here the newest launch of Batiste is a Cherry scented concoction!
Initially I was a little wary of a cherry scented product - I feared it would be sickly sweet
but surprisingly I love it and would go as far as saying this is my favourite scent to date.
It reminds me a little of those jelly cherry sweets you so often get at the cinema!
I can see the Cherry scent replacing my usual Blush variety.
The packaging of the Cherry scent is sweet and very vintage cottage inspired
and it somehow reminds me of Katy Perry, particularly the California Girls video?
Yeah no idea why that is what I see when I look at the cute green patterned can
but I do!
If you are unfamiliar with dry shampoo it is a spray on product that you massage into the roots of the hair
in order to absorb the excess oil allowing you to skip a shampoo.
It can also be used to add texture and volume to the hair,
it is a godsend for us that suffer from super soft hair that favour messy bed-head type styles!
All in all a great scent for the upcoming warmer weather (she says with hope in her voice)
and a great product to have for emergencies be they of the greasy or floppy variety!

I went to my local boots last week and at the moment they are 3 for 2 so I jumped at the chance to get this but they were all sold out :( better luck next time for me!

ReplyDeletei'll have to give this one a go. i don't often use dry shampoo because my hairs so curly its kinda pointless...but for days when i straighten and can't be arsed washing it, i shall invest and smell of cherries!

DeleteI dont normally like the smell of cherries, but i quite like the sound of this one.. i normally go for the fresh scents for my hair so something different may be added to my basket in boots next time :)

DeleteThis sounds interesting, I've tried batiste before but sometimes I find that the smell gives me a bit of a headache, I have to spray in the spare room and then come back to my room to finish my makeup! lol I do like cherry scents though so I might give this a go. Great post yet again! :D
