Strawberry is not a scent I gravitate towards when in The Body Shop,
I tend to lean towards the more exotic fruit scents such as Coconut and Mango
however fancying a change of pace I ordered a few Strawberry items.

Surprisingly the Strawberry scent is not as tart as I had imagined it to be,
now there is no denying that the Strawberry scent is sweet but luckily it is not sickly sweet.
Rather it is mild and very feminine if that at all makes sense,
it lingers on the skin without over powering.
It transports me to summer which is not a bad thing at all
given the grey days we have been having of late.
Now the polish is nothing at all like a traditional body scrub,
it is not a grainy salt like concoction but a shower gel with little black grains
that act as the polish to buff and reveal gloriously smooth fresh skin!
Not only does it remove dry and dead skin but it also foams like a shower gel
meaning you can cleanse and polish in one easy step, this lazy girl approves!

DeleteI used my Satsuma body polish recently - I prefer it to the Strawberry :P I like these but I don't find them to be scrubby enough all the time!xx
ReplyDeletehaha you are satsuma crazy lady haha :) yeah I think if you have dry skin (i'm a walking oil slick) then these may not be as intensive as some may need :)
