At the moment the Body Shop still have their January sale going strong, I really like their Body Butters so when I saw an offer for selected scents for £5 you can also get a further £2 off with the code BUTTER bringing a 200ml tub down to £3!
I saw this as an opportunity to experience a scent from the range which I have over looked in the past.
New Year, new things that sort of mentality. The Body Shop Passion Fruit of course has a Passion Fruit type of scent but it is mild and in no way over powering, it has a creamy type of scent imagine a passion fruit yoghurt and you'll be half way there!
The Passion Fruit Body butter is aimed at dry/normal skin,which is the formula I find works best for my skin (face excluded). The butter is thick and creamy, absorbs instantly into the skin,leaving it felling completely moisturised without leaving behind any icky greasy coating all the while leaving your skin delicately scented. Like I said Passion Fruit is not my normal choice I normally go for Mango or Coconut but I have been really swayed by this light fruity scent and think I may treat myself to the scrub too!

DeleteAs much as I'd love to imagine this smell, the last time I smelled this butter was when my mum's one had gone off and smelt of rancid plastic!! x
ReplyDeleteEek! It only takes one time/thing and you are put off for life, something similar happened to me with a perfume and even if I smell an okay one now it just makes me feel sick! x

DeleteI used to have the lip butter of this scent. It's quite nice but I'm not really a fan of fruity body lotions. That said, you've got the idea in my head that I should try a new body butter and not just stock on the coconut one. :D
