Revlon Fire and Ice Lipstick

Revlon Fire and Ice was originally launched way back in 1952, making it a somewhat vintage shade but unlike Cherries in the Snow, I can actually see the appeal of this tomato red shade.

The packaging is nothing special but typical of Revlon lipsticks. A plain black case with gold accents, it does the trick nicely and doesn't look overly cheap, which is all you can really ask for.

As I said above, Revlon Fire and Ice is a bright tomato red which if we were to really analyse it, i.e looking for shade leanings, you would settle on that it leans slightly yellow and is most definitely a warm toned shade. It really all makes sense with the Fire title really that it should be warm! As it has slight yellow tones this is not the shade to make your teeth appear whiter but one any warm toned girl should really give a whirl. This is a full on bright show stopping red, if you are not one for
bold lips then this is not the shade for you. If you like Mac So Chaud I think this is one you'll also enjoy.

The formula is light, glides on and extremely comfortable to wear, it is moisturising and not at all drying. It is fairly opaque and doesn't require multiple coats for decent coverage,
great news if you like your lipsticks full on! The finish is crème which has a slight sheen but not overly glossy.I do like this shade but would absolutely love it had it been Matte finish but that is just personal preference and overall it is still a lovely shade.
