China Glaze Let it Snow Holiday Collection

Last and final instalment ladies, thank you for sticking around for all three parts haha! I am without one shade from the China Glaze Let It Snow Collection and that shade is Winter Berry, I deemed it too boring to purchase and thus didn't. If you Google it I am sure that will pull lots of swatches but it really isn't anything exciting it is just another red nail polish in my opinion.

I have really enjoyed swatching the China Glaze Holiday Collection, I can not fault the formula and the shades available are pretty unbeatable. The price point is also pretty fair at £6.49 each for 14ml so not much more in cost than many high street brands with frankly a whole lot more product. I am already planning my attack on the next collection due to launch soon but that is another story for another time.

China Glaze Blue Years Eve - The title of this polish is unfortunate for me, it reminds me of counting down the bells in town and being freezing. Probably something to do with the phrase "Blue with the cold!". Anyway Blue Years Eve is a deep navy blue that reflects cobalt and purple in certain lights. This applies fairly sheer so three coats where needed to achieve the finish photographed. It is packed with tiny fragments of bright purple glitter that just adds to the complexity of this polish. I think it is a really lovely spin on what could be another navy blue polish and it will make a nice change from the usual plain deep colours I tend to sport this time of the year.

China Glaze Holly-Day - This is a mid forest green and is basically shade of Christmas trees, it is nice but rather plain perhaps the glitter shades in the collection only highlight this. It has an almost crème finish and decent coverage. It is a nice enough green and season appropriate but for me a little boring unless you plan on adding something to it i.e glitter, nail art.

China Glaze Snow Globe - Wow this is beautiful and the name is so fitting, I'm longing to dig out the Christmas decorations just to see the snow globes now! Snow Globe is almost like the top coat of the collection, the polish you can rely on to add a little something, something to any of the shades particularly the plain ones.  Snow Globe is a clear polish with pastel multi-toned glitter. The glitter varies in size with the large chunks being the most dominate. Unlike some glitter polishes this is densely packed and doesn't require endless coats to achieve decent coverage however I was unable to get satisfactory swatches on a naked nail.

Availability - I bought these from sally's for £6.49 in Glasgow but you can also pick them up here if you live in the U.K
