The latest addition to the Pixi skincare and facial mist line up is one you won't want to miss out on - especially if you have a dry or de-hydrated complexion. Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist is set to become the go-to light yet intensive moisturising quick hit, parched skin types have been waiting for. Watch out for it in everyone's travel bags come Summer 2016!
As you can see the Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist is perfectly described by its title: a milky white coloured fluid that is loaded with skin soothing and nourishing ingredients. Forget what you know about facial moisturising sprays Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist is different, it includes: Hyaluronic Acid, Black Oat, Pro-vitamin A, and Linoleic Acid, so not only does it instantly plump, repair and soothe the skin but thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid it encourages the skin to retain moisture naturally - how many facial sprays can you say that about?
I do view Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist as an on-the- go moisturiser, a spray that can be relied upon should your skin ever feel tight, uncomfortable or parched. Rather conveniently this mist can be used with other moisturising products for an intensive dose of hydration. If that is not enough it can be used as a primer before make-up (especially effective on drier complexions) and/or before a face mask (avoid using in conjunction with a peel off formulation). As with all of the Pixi facial mists, Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist features a super-fine nozzle to ensure that you never soak or overwhelm your skin, as such (and of course due to the formulation) you can apply this over make-up, free from removal and/or drips. As a side note I do find that when applied over make-up it helps to settle any dry and or cakey patches - perfect if you have a long day and little patience.
What I like most about the Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist is that it works; certain facial sprays in the past were no more than a refreshing spritz of water, my skin did not feel nourished nor cared for. Not the case with the Hydrating Milky Mist, yes it refreshes but it instantly soothes, calms and hydrates the skin - I truly can not think of a better moisture based facial mist than this and you can quote me on that!

Nice that it is 80ml too and thus hand baggage friendly, which so few are. I love Pixi and will definitely be seeking this out.

This sounds perfect, I've recently been suffering with dry patches that I can't seem to shift my makeup just isn't sitting right at all...it's odd for years I hated having oily skin and now I wish I could have it back - it was a lot easier to manage! Definitely giving this a try :) x
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a hydrating facial mist and this one sounds perfect!

This sounds amazing! I also find some facial mists do just act like water and do nothing so the fact this one works makes me want it.

I love Pixi products but hate how much we get ripped off in the UK when they're half the price in the US! I'll have to look out for this next time I'm in The States x
