It's the Extra Little Touches

Molton Brown Wondrous Myrrh, Musk and Cypress Hand Wash and Lotion Set Review

I'm slowly but surely gearing up for Christmas and at the moment I have found myself looking for additional, little special touches: be it a pretty bouquet of flowers, home made pot pourri or in the case of this post festively scented hand soap and hand lotion, yes really...hear me out.

First of all Molton Brown fragrances truly are the epitome of divine, I have yet to stumble across a scent within their vast line up and never once been disappointed. The most difficult discussion and decision I've had in regards to Molton Brown is deciding what is my favourite scent (Gingerlily)and what products to take home (all if I could). If only all of life's choices were that easy huh? Just in time for the festive period, Molton Brown have launched two, warming and traditional fragrances: Wondrous Myrrh, Musk and Cypress, and Festive Frankincense and Allspice. Both are perfectly blended and couldn't be more suited to Winter let alone the festive period.

Molton Brown Wondrous Myrrh, Musk and Cypress Hand Wash and Lotion Set Review

I was kindly gifted the Molton Brown Wondrous Myrrh, Musk and Cypress Hand Wash and Lotion Set, a duo of skin nourishing products that have been delicately scented with notes of Cypress, Ginger and Musk. In my opinion the overall fragrance is very alpine-esque it reminds me of the great outdoors come the Winter months - think snow, hulking trees and roaring fires. The perfect "little extra" to any kitchen or bathroom sink, or even popped inside a stocking as a thoughtful gift.

Fragrance aside, both the Molton Brown Wondrous Myrrh, Musk and Cypress Hand Wash and Hand Lotion are beautifully formulated. The hand wash gently cleanses the skin removing dirt and general grim without stripping my hands nor irritating the skin. To gently comfort freshly washed skin the Molton Brown hand lotion is rich yet light in formula, deeply nourishing yet non-greasy - you really couldn't ask for more.

It's not often I write about or as much as mention hand products but I truly do believe that the Molton Brown hand formulations are well worth splashing out on. Once my current duo is depleted I will be replacing it with something brighter and fruitier - Christmas is after all, only one day a year.

  4. I like their products a lot but I'd never fork out that much for a soap&hand cream duo! That's what makes them great christmas gifts though :) xx

  6. Wonderful!! Definitely believe that which you stated. Now I'm easily moisturizing my skin by using Sakare skincare moisturizer. I'd recommend to all my friends.
