You asked and Glossybox have listened and then delivered, in this months box (October 2015) there's not only one full sized product but five, that's right every single item within the box is full sized and not a sample. Talk about great value, if you have yet to receive your box and don't want any spoilers, I suggest you click away now - otherwise let me share what is inside Glossybox October 2015...
So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil £15
A chunky multi-use pencil that can be used much like a typical cream highlighter, simply glide onto the skin and blend out. The silken texture is easy to use and does not pull nor tug at the skin, it is fairly pigmented and a beautiful peach come oyster pink that when used on the eye area has an eye opening effect. I've not been impressed by many So Susan products in the past but this I could get on board with.
Talika Photo-Hydra Day Cream £24.85
A super light, almost gel like formulation that is oddly deeply hydrating, it contains soothing and calming ingredients, alongside hyaluronic acid. It is truly one of the lightest yet moisturising textures I have trailed in a long while, if you suffer from dried out skin but don't like heavy textures this could be the moisturiser you have been searching for.
Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara £17.95
I have not tried this mascara yet as my eyes are beyond sensitised at the moment, I can however vouch that it is black, very black and has a somewhat wet formulation. As an added bonus it is 100% cruelty free.
Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge £6.50
Not a brand I am familiar with but a blending sponge never goes wrong, I rather like that this features a somewhat tapered tip to reach those tricky areas such as the nose.Use to roll and bounce on liquid foundation products and to dab on powder.
Lanolips Golden Ointment Dry Skin Salve £17.99
A multi-purpose balm that contains medical grade Lanolin, Manuka Honey and Vitamin E to gently soften and soothe dried out skin. It can be used anywhere on the body but I find it to be most effective as a lip balm.
A great box wouldn't you agree? I think we all enjoy receiving full sized products within sample boxes don't we?

Wow what an impressive box. Last months box also included 5 full size products didn't it? Glossybox really seem to be trying to up their game at the moment. I would order this box if it wasn't for the fact that I have too many lip balms/makeup sponges/mascaras already! x

I've been looking for a new subscription box and this one looks like a great choice! Thanks for the write up x
ReplyDeleteThis box is so exciting! The Lanolips multifunction balm seems to be quite good, and I didn't know this brand at all. Really, beauty boxes are the best to make you discover new products and brands!

Not to be "that guy" here, but what size is the Lanolips Golden Ointment? As from the image it looks considerably smaller the one I purchased.
ReplyDeletePerspective scaling, lens and no point of reference being considered here too.

Glossybox sounds great. I used to suscribe to birchbox and I have received few amazing items but overall I don't use everything and I end up with sooo many samples which is nice but i'm one who likes to make use of things. Maybe Ile try glossybox out atleast once and see how it is.
ReplyDeleteI really love subscription boxes, but I don't know of any cheap ones that ship to/are based in Australia! If anyone knows of any, please let me know xx

I got my Glossybox today.. Instead of the Jelly Pong Pong mascara, I got a Jelly Pong Pong lip and cheek tint! I'm kind of glad I got different though as I have a million mascaras!
