Yes Lush is a great bath and body brand with skin and hair care options galore, that however is not my reason for loving the brand dearly. Lush have not only educated me and so many others in issues the main stream press may not always deem newsworthy but they also fight for important causes. Take for instance the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) - a trade I had no idea existed and I'm sure others are in a similar position too? To draw attention to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), Lush have launched Lush Dirty Deal Showder.
As I said above until yesterday, I had no idea that the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) existed and as such, I have vowed to spend a little time this week fully reading up on all it entails. From what I have gathered thus far (and do feel free to correct me) is that the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is being marketed as the answer to recession with false promises of jobs and economical growth. It seems it will cost at least 1 million jobs within the EU, undermine public services and, for the first time, allow US companies to sue the UK government in special courts. You can read more about the TTIP deal here, which will be far more insightful than anything I could possibly say - link.
Lush Dirty Deal Showder not only comes presented within the most beautiful box ever, which was designed by Vivienne Westwood and her Climate Revolution but s easily one of the most joyfully fragrant Lush products I have experienced in a long while. A delightful, delicate blend of rose and bergamont come together to create an uplifting, enjoyable floral infusion. The idea behind the magenta coloured shower product is that much like the aforementioned deal not everything is quite what it may seem. The fine shower powder when combined with water and damp skin, turns from pink into a light lilac hue and gently fizzes to both cleanse and somewhat hydrates the skin thanks to a blend of kaolin and coconut oil.
As a side note all proceeds from Lush Dirty Deal Showder go towards European grassroots groups fighting Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
You can purchase Lush Dirty Deal Showder (£12.50/400g) in store or online - link.
This looks pretty awesome never heard of shower powder before it looks like dishwasher soap for your skin haha

Lush are amazing when it comes to charity work! This one sounds really interesting and the way the showder turns purple when it contact with water looks so pretty. I might pick this up, just for the charity donations alone. :)

I love Vivienne Westwood products, so surely, will give this one a try. Thanks for featuring, love the shade from your very description of it. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw this on the Lush Instagram & thought it looked so cool! Would really love to try it :) Liv x
ReplyDeleteI've seen their tweets/emails about this but when I looked on the site I couldn't find it. Maybe I looked in the kitchen when it was actually in the shop. The only concern I'd have with this product is that it looks like the packaging is cardboard, so that would get soggy in the shower? x
