Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream Review

Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream

My skin is notoriously tricky, one day it is oily the next it is normal and then there are the hive outbreaks. It often feels like I have to second guess my skincare needs but one thing I always have room for in my stash is a moisturiser that soothes and hydrates. Always! Let me introduce you to Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream, a moisturiser that is both hypoallergenic and hydrating - essentially suitable for all.

As you can see Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream has been somewhat packaged like a carton of milk and that is not by accident, yep much like milk this moisturiser relies on UHT technology to ensure that the ingredients are perfectly preserved naturally. In theory this means that the product will be more potent and of course have a longer shelf life. A win/win situation if ever there was one.
Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream features a thick, typically creamy texture that is not at all greasy, easily absorbed and does not overwhelm my typically oily complexion. On the other hand it is hydrating enough for even the driest of complexions, not to mention it instantly soothes and calms aggravated skin. This is all due to a '3-honey complex' (Acacia, Orange Blossom, Thyme) which is ideal for sentised skin as it restores and repairs all the while moisturising and revitalising. It can also double up as an after sun as Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream gently takes the sting and heat out inflamed skin, making it a great choice for those like myself who regularly suffer from hives. Although Melvita don't state so I can personally vouch that this really calms itchy irritated skin and tone down any visible redness. It's not often that I get to recommend products for hive prone complexions but this is all but a must have for such condition.I have also read that it is suited to those with facial eczema due to it being hypoallergenic?

If you are looking for a hydrating daily moisturiser, that will protect, repair and help soothe irritated skin (redness and general irritations included), all the while being 100% natural this is one to try. It is nourishing and ideal for everyday use, or to be stashed away for skin flair ups as when you need it. Oh and I should add this smells wonderful - creamy, a little fruity and oh so fresh.
