Every now and then my hair reaches a stage of beyond dry, a state in which it seems no amount of conditioner nor hair oil can save it. I'm sure it doesn't help that I have bleached hair but there has to be a solution, an easy to find hair care product or two that won't break the bank but will actually quench my locks? Actually yes and oddly it came from a hair care brand I don't often look towards for my needs - Pantene. The Pantene Pro-V Expert Hydra Intensify range is my new weapon against dehydrated hair and prices start at just £5.99.
The entire Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Hydra Intensify collection features a triple active complex – which is a unique blend of three nourishing ingredients, exclusive to this line of hair care. The idea is that the three ingredients fuse together to provide deep nourishment and hydration for hair of any length - as someone with long hair it is very seldom that a formula is intense enough to treat my needs but I can vouch that it works. All of the products within the range have been specifically formulated to help combat day to day damage caused by styling and combing, which I feel is something we all tend to overlook. As an added bonus the range also counteracts humidity making it ideal for the summer weather.
As someone with thick, coarse hair I do find that the Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Hydra Intensify line up smooths and softens my hair. I would however recommend that those with finer hair, easily weighed down hair, skip the shampoo and concentrate on a conditioner from this range as it is a very moisture rich line up. I personally use the shampoo, conditioner and masque for an instant moisture boost that leaves my hair quenched and silky to the touch when it is at it's driest; otherwise I just treat the mid-lengths down to the Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Hydra Intensify Masque once a week to prevent damage and of course deeply condition.
If you have dry hair that is in instant need of a little TLC and don't want to fork out big bucks for products that may or may not work, Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Hydra Intensify should be your next purchase. It is as close to salon quality as I have found, regardless of the price point - basically those with dried out tresses need to get on this and sharp-ish.
Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Hydra Intensify Collection, products range in price from £5.99-£6.99 and can be found via Boots - link.

I'm a massive fan of the Aqua light line from Pantene, as well as the soft & gentle. They make such great products for the price... It's a shame that we don't get this line in Spain but I will keep an eye out. Thanks for the review!!

I love this range! these products, along with a few from the dove hair care lines, are the only ones that keep my dry hair looking and feeling super soft and shiny :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to pick these up! My hair has a tendency to get super dry especially now that it's quite long, I hope these could help with that..

I haven't tried Pantene products for such a long time, but these sound great, as does the price! My ends tend to get dry so quickly and they sound like they would so the trick!

I'm intrigued! I was on the co-washing train for a while with my long, curly hair but I just recently jumped off and have been using the pantene BB shampoo and conditioner - which I like (only first impressions) but this sounds great!
