Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum

I'm a huge fan of Roberto Cavalli fragrances (I'm a huge fragrance fan full stop) - sexy, sophisticated and original in my opinion. To say I was excited to try out the new Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum is an understatement. If you are looking for the ideal warm weather fragrance for evening, look no further Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum is the one you've been waiting for.

Much like Thierry Mugler and to an extent Chanel scents, Roberto Cavalli fragrances are instantly recognisable - chances are if you like one, you'll enjoy them all. Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum is no different, as an avid wearer and fan of Roberto Cavalli Exotica I'm glad to say this is not worlds apart.

Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum is described as a citrus based floral and features top notes of bergamot and mandarin, coupled with a floral heart of jasmine. At the base there is warmer and altogether woody notes cypress, parasol pine and pink laurel, all of which help add depth and of course encourage longevity. I will be entirely honest in saying that this is a fairly strong floral fragrance in which the citrus notes do not shine through. Rather on first application Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Eau de Parfum translates to a clean, almost fresh cotton scent before drying down to an soft woody, jasmine type scent. It is beautiful and very much a carefree scent - ideal for warm summer evenings, due to the strength of this scent it is not one I would recommend for day wear as I fear it could turn sickly.

If you enjoy strong Jasmine based scents or any of Roberto Cavalli's previous fragrance launches this is one I recommend checking out - the bottle alone was enough to grab my attention!
