Limited Edition Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream Review

Limited Edition Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream

The newest Elemis launch - Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream, only landed on my doorstep this morning but I couldn't wait to take it for a spin after a mini-gym work out. This limited edition shower cream not only smells like a fresh Spring meadow but gently moisturises the skin as it cleanses.

"Harnessing the powerhouse of ingredients grown in the idyllic British countryside, this aromatic shower cream is expertly blended with soothing Lavender, Chamomile and uplifting Geranium and Palmarosa. Omega-rich Echium oil works to hydrate and nourish the skin, whilst vitamin and mineral rich organic Oats and Rosemary gently cleanse the skin, for a truly restorative in-shower experience."

There are very few shower products that I'd recommend for both night and day use as far as fragrance is concerned; in the morning I require something punchy to help awaken me from my slumber, in the evening I want something calming. Oddly the limited edition Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream covers both bases, the uplifting notes of Geranium and Palmarosa are ideal for awakening and the lavender and chamomile have you covered come night fall. Fragrance aside the formula is beautiful - silky, non-drying yet cleansing. I may have only just began testing this but I can vouch that it leaves the skin feeling supple, soft and comfortable - if you are not prone to dryness this could be the ideal 2-in-1 product that allows you to occasionally skip body moisturiser.

A lovely, Spring ready treat for the skin and senses.

  3. Oh this sounds so nice and I'm a huge fan of Elemis. It's a bit out of my price range for a shower cream though, if it were cheaper I'd snap it right up!
