Tom Ford Costa Azzura Eau de Parfum Review

Tom Ford Costa Azzura Eau de Parfum

Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances are an obsession of mine, in a dream world I would own a bottle of each. In a dream world I'd also holiday in the Hamptons and have legs that go on forever. The newest addition to my perfume collection is Tom Ford Costa Azzura Eau de Parfum. Strong, slightly masculine, clean with a little fruity kick. One quick whiff of this and all I can think of is sun soaked beaches, coves and crystal clear waters.

"Evocative. Salty. Sensual. Private Blend Costa Azzura eau de parfum by Tom Ford captures the evocative mix of island woods on the desirable destination of Sardinia. Its unique aroma of salty beaches, dry herbs, evergreen trees and driftwood mingles with scents of the low, thickly forested landscape known in the Mediterranean as the Macchia - a triangle of oaks, juniper pines and herbs."

As with most Tom Ford fragrances it is difficult to draw comparisons to other scents as they do tend to be in a league of their own. In some senses Tom Ford Costa Azzura Eau de Parfum reminds me ever so slightly of Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir but fresher and cleaner. If Pomegranate Noir was a winter fragrance, Tom Ford Costa Azzura is more summer appropriate and aquatic. I briefly touched on the fruity notes above, fitting to the Italian inspiration their is hints of Lemon and Mandarin mellowed out with Lavender. It really is one of those fragrances you need to discover for yourself to understand - if you enjoy Tom Ford Neroli Portfino Eau de Parfum and/or Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt I would stop by your local Tom Ford counter and give this a try.

For a limited time only Tom Ford Costa Azzura, Mandarino di Amalfi and Neroli Portfino Eau de Parfums will be available in 30ml bottles, perfect for travel or to indulge in without feeling too guilty. There is certainly a novelty factor about being able to purchase one of your favourite scents but in mini form isn't there?
