It is not often that I will as much as mention a foaming facial soap never mind rave about one. Why? Well typically (I'm not for one moment saying all) foaming cleansers are very stripping on the skin and as someone with oily skin that can make a problematic complexion all the worse. Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap does not slot into that category, it is soft, gentle and most importantly effective.
As you may be able to tell the Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap has been specially formulated to work with cleansing brushes of any type. Yes Clinique did have it in mind that it should be used be with the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush but it works equally well with all cleansing brushes of this type and can be used with manual brushes too!
The texture of Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap is more akin to a cleansing milk combined with a balm rather than your typical foaming cleanser - it is creamy yet feels light on the skin, doesn't clog pores and does leave the skin feeling hydrated without leaving a film or any residue behind. The idea is that such texture allows the bristles of any cleansing brush to glide across face reducing unnecessary friction and force creating an altogether milder yet effective cleansing routine. Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap when used with a brush effectively removes all make-up (obviously not eye make-up as you wouldn't use a brush there) as well as removing dirt, excess oil and helping to de-clog the pores. Yes it foams but only slightly so it doesn't strip the skin nor leave in feeling tight or uncomfortable no matter how frequently you use it. The great thing about this cleanser is that it leaves the skin not only feeling fresh and clean but also softer with each use and not a break out in sight.
If you use a cleansing brush of any type this should be your next purchase, you will wonder how you used anything else with it before!

This sounds like it's worth a try - definitely can be tricky to find a foaming cleanser that isn't drying x
ReplyDeleteI might give it a little try. I've used Clinque before though and it really upset my skin! x x

Ooh I'll be trying this - usually Clinique cleansers are a little harsh on my skin but this sounds great :)
