The Daily Beauty Report (28.10.14)

The Daily Beauty Report (28.10.14)

Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

Tom Ford will launch a fresher and all together lighter version of their original fragrance - Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. This is aimed as a male scent but as with any Tom Ford fragrance launch they can be worn be either sex should they wish. Notes include bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, orange blossom, basil, orris root, vetiver, musk, amber wood and oak moss.

Save those pennies as a beautiful collection is about to drop! "Chantecaille Beauté have announced the launch of its SS15 make-up collection, embodying geometric glaciers from around the world and their natural colour play between light and shadow. The Glacier Eye Shade Trio is the focus of the collection, featuring limited edition shades that reflect the landscape of the Arctic and the hues of the ice and earth. Micronised pigments boost colour pureness and formula adherence while spherical polymer creates a smooth, even finish. Shades include Iceberg (white gold pearl), Polar Light (taupe) and Arctic Dusk (lilac grey). 5% of proceeds from the trip will be donated to the National Resources Defense Council. Also in the collection is the Galactic Lip Shine, a conditioning lip gloss, serum hybrid infused with a range of healing fruit extracts in two shades: Polaris (clear pearl) and Aurora (translucent fuchsia); and Hydra Chic lipstick that provides lasting hydration with six hours of colour wear. Shades include Saxifrage (bright magenta) and Arctic Rose (pearlescent blush). The brand has also unveiled Rose de Mai Face Oil, the latest addition to the Rose de Mai collection. Brightening and anti-ageing, the formula pairs a nourishing texture with the healing properties of Rose de Mai to regenerate, nourish and restructure skin." So, so beautiful and coming our way in Febuary 2015, prices will range from £27-£150.

Now this is clever! "Revlon have announced the launch of Skinny Liner. The new eyeliner features a precision point tip capable of sketching ultra-fine lines. The brand has partnered up with tattoo artist Jess Simpson to create a series of tattoo designs using the Skinny liquid liner. Designs created include: Links of Love, Unlocked Love and On the Wings of Love." It launch this month and cost £7.99.

On the 4th of November The Body Shop will launch Red Musk! "The Body Shop have announced the launch of Red Musk, a new fragrance for women that blends musk and spice. The fragrance comprises pepper top notes and a heart of cinnamon, while tobacco is at the the base." Prices will range from £16-£30.

I have already wrote about and reviewed this product but as it such a good cause I will flag it up again! "Witch have launched a limited edition Blemish Stick to support Marie Curie Cancer Care. The product has undergone a make-over to reflect the cause, and the brand will be giving a 10,000 donation to support the charity's work. The one-off donation will help Marie Curie provide support to terminally ill people through its nursing service, either in people's homes or through its hospices, providing essential support to their families. The limited edition blemish stick harnesses the naturally soothing property of witch hazel, targeting blemishes by helping to break down excess oils and fighting the bacteria that cause spots." It is out now and in Superdrug.

Contouring? Say no more I'm in! "Rodial have announced the launch of its début Sculpting Make-up Collection, with Daisy Lowe as the UK Ambassador. The range offers contouring and sculpting products and comprises of : Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contour Powder; Instaglam Compact Deluxe Bronzing Powder; Instaglam Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder; Instaglam Airbrush Primer; Instaglam Highlighter, a yellow-toned pen; Instaglam Skin Tint, available in four shades and infused with SPF30 and hyaluronic acid; Instaglam Magic Pen Eye Glow, an eye brightener pen to illuminate; Instaglam Compact Deluxe Translucent HD Powder; Instaglam Glow, a luminescent glow pen to highlight cheekbones and facial contours; Instaglam Magic Pen Corrector, a high coverage concealer crayon with candelilia wax; Instaglam Retouch, an eye brightening concealer; Hyaluronic Cheek Sculpt, a gel formula in a coral shade; Eye Sculpt, a lightweight whipped cream in a universal brown shade; Smokey Eye Pen, a soft gel-like pencil in shades black or brown; Glamolash Mascara Skinny and Glamolash Mascara XXL. The brand's Glamstick lipsticks are also now available in nine bright shades and have been reformulated with hyaluronic acid spheres and SPF15 to plump and protect. In addition, the brand will be launching a Sculpting Bar offering bespoke sculpting services in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge from 10 November." I realise that is a lot to take in but I for one can't wait for the products to drop on the 7th of November.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
