Yesterday I talked all about how the beautiful new fragrance from YSL - Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum is more than perfect for the upcoming autumn especially if you enjoy vanilla based fragrances. Well what if you prefer floral based scents? Enter Estee Lauder Modern Muse Chic Eau de Parfum.
Estee Lauder Modern Muse Chic Eau de Parfum is of course the second addition to the Estee Lauder Modern Muse family and this time around it is more intense and oud based. Notes are said to include: top notes of plum and artemisia, middle notes of jasmine sambac, tuberose and lily. lastly base notes of cashmere wood, oud, patchouli, ebony tree, rounding off with creamy musk and vanilla. Like I said it is very similar to the original Estee Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Parfum but warmer, with less fresh white floral additions and slightly more woody making it perfect for chilly weather. Basically if you like the original you will enjoy this amped up version.
Being a sister fragrance so to speak the bottle for Estee Lauder Modern Muse Chic Eau de Parfum is again pretty similar to the initial Modern Muse launch. A large, clear glass bottle filled with a light pink liquid topped with golden accents and a bow to neatly finish things off. It is the bow is really the only noticeable difference - the small, studs on the finishing touch is really the only way to tell the bottles apart from of course testing the products.
