Cooling Down with Arran Aromatics

With Scotland suddenly having a warm spell I thought I'd share some lovely products from a home grown brand which will help you to keep cooling in the sunshine (long may it last!)...

I'm not all that great at remembering to use a body lotion or body butter if I am entirely honest.
Truth is I find it all a bit of a faff but with the last few nights being rather warm (my house is a heat trap) I have rather been looking forward to applying Arran Aromatics Feel Good Formulas Aloe Vera Energising Body Gel. This body gel has been formulated to not only nourish and moisturise but it can soothe tired bodies and restless leg (perfect for frequent fliers). It obviously contains oodles of Aloe Vera which gives it the fresh, uplifting scent but also contains Witch Hazel to cool and tone the skin as well as busting blemishes (back acne anyone). To make this extra indulgent I have been storing this in the fridge (bliss), what I like about this gel is that it absorbs instantly. Now us lazy gals and guys have no excuse what so ever for dry skin - a suitcase must have if you ask me! You can find it here - link.

Speaking of keeping things in the fridge I have been using Arran Aromatics Feel Good Formulas Green Tea Eye Cooler Gel pretty much loyally for two weeks now. First of all I can't believe that it only costs £3.50! Yes really and secondly it has really helped soothe my tired and itchy eyes which have been plagued by hayfever. This gel is light yet utterly cooling and really does help to de-puff the delicate eye area. It contains extracts of Green Tea which is full of powerful anti-oxidants to soothe and revitalise the delicate eye area. It does say on the brands site that this can help combat fine lines, I can't say it does or doesn't as I haven't noticed any difference but then again I really only use this to cool, calm and refresh. At £3.50 it is a complete steal! You can find it here - link.

We hide our feet all winter long in bulky boots then come summer cram them into flip flops which of course can leave them looking a little worse for wear! I hate talking about feet (eww) but if like myself you walk everywhere you may want to treat yourself to a tub of Arran Aromatics Feel Good Formulas Peppermint and Lavender Foot Rub. This thick, cooling cream not only revive tired, aching feet (perfect if you live in towering heels) but contains natural oils such as Peppermint to cool and refresh the skin in one quick step. It has a really fresh and uplifting minty fragrance that in a sense acts as a deodorant - sweaty feet and the Summer months do seem to go hand in hand (or should that be foot in foot?). I like that this is non-greasy and really does help to soothe tired feet at the end of the day. I don't use this daily but rather have vouched to treat myself to an at home pedicure once a week and will be sure to slather this all over my feet. In a sentence? A great all year round foot product that won't break the bank! Find it here - link.

I hate to harp on about feet but if like myself you are a little (okay a lot) on the lazy side Arran Aromatics
Feel Good Formulas Apricot, Mint & Coriander Foot Exfoliant Bar could be just be what you are looking for. Basically this is an exfoliating soap that you can use daily in the shower to quickly remove dry and dead skin on the feet. It is gentle, smells great (again it deodorises) and is so quick and easy to use. Simply lather up, scrub, rinse and hello baby soft feet - you may want to follow up with the Arran Aromatics Feel Good Formulas Peppermint and Lavender Foot Rub to lock in moisture but really no bathroom should be without a bar. So simple yet effective. You can find it here - link.
