Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask

A few days ago my skin reacted and reacted in a bad way.
I woke up to hundreds and I mean hundreds of little bumps on my face - a red, dry and itchy rash.
I still have no idea what cause it as I wasn't trailing anything new in terms of foundation or skin care when it happened. Annoying? Yes but I did give me the chance to properly put Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask to the test.

I must stress that if your skin has broken out in any shape or form it probably isn't the best idea to begin slapping on new lotions and potions in the fear of making a bad situation worse. Luckily I have used Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask a few times - the last being a few weeks ago when I received a facial so I knew my skin would be okay. If you have dry, dehydrated skin or travel a lot you need Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask, it really is as simple as that.

First of all Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask has been specifically designed for dehydrated skin types meaning that it doesn't over hydrate areas that don't require the extra moisture but gives parched areas a much needed dose of moisture. This mask does not dry out on the skin rather it feels like an intensive moisturising treatment and is more akin to the sleep masks in formula and use. You apply to clean, dry skin and allow it to work its magic for up to ten minutes and tissue off any excess. Easy peasy. Being a fully moisturising treatment Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask contains Hyaluronic acid helps to restore the skin's moisture level, katafray extract  to reinforce the barrier effect of the outer layer of the skin and to limit further dehydration.Lastly it contains extracts of rowan tree buds boost the skin's radiance. As with all products within the HydraQuench range this mask comes highly recommend for those who suffer from really dry skin as it is so quick to act.

Did it completely rid me of my rash?
Nope and nor did I expected it to but it did calm and soothe my skin and took away all the dryness from such skin complaint.
