Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer

Oily skin and heat does not bode well - come the summer months it is basically a case of hoping and praying that whatever make-up I apply to my face doesn't slide off. A beautiful picture as always. As a result of my troublesome skin I am forever trying new primers and hands down one of the best primers I have tried in a long while is Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer.

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer is based on the primer that is used within Max Factor Facefinity 3-in-1 Foundation . This coming April it became a stand alone product after so many make-up artists raved about it and all but demanded it to become a solo product and boy am I glad they did. First of all Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer is a great size (30ml the same size as the brands foundations) and comes complete with an inbuilt pump which does not clog or leak. Each pump of product tends to be enough for a full face application so waste is not an issue on my part.

The primer itself is a silky white liquid which does not leave a cast on the skin and is suitable for all skin types and colours. Being a little camera shy I can't comment on the flash photography element which may be an issue as it contains an SPF of 20 but as it is underneath foundation it shouldn't be an issue, unless of course your foundation also contains an SPF. So many primers contain heavy silicones which sometimes cause my skin to break out not to mention flake through out the day. Now Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer does contain silicone but it doesn't have the same texture or feel on the skin rather it is lightweight and almost feels like I'm wearing nothing at all on my skin. I won't pretend that Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer is great for blurring enlarged pores or fine lines because it isn't that kind of primer (nor does it claim to be) but nothing and I mean nothing holds my make-up in place like it. I can apply it first thing in the morning and know that my foundation and all else applied on top will stay in place regardless of my oily skin. Personally I find this primer to be somewhat hydrating so I believe even dry skins could benefit from usage. I think of it as make-up glue or as Max Factor put it Velcro for your face - nothing will budge with this underneath and having used this daily for close to two weeks I can say safely that my skin has not broken out in the slightest.
