Jo Malone Silk Blossom Cologne

Jo Malone Silk Blossom Cologne

This coming May Jo Malone will release a limited edition fragrance - Jo Malone Silk Blossom Colonge which has been inspired by nature's blooms, hummingbirds and butterflies. If you happened to like Jo Malone Peony and Blush I think you will enjoy this equally...if not more!

"Nature's blooms at their most tempting. The pink-fringed pompoms of Silk Blossom. Irresistible to hummingbirds and butterflies. Apricot-fresh with a touch of spice. Airy with clouds of powder-soft heliotrope, nestling on a bed of moss. Fruity and enticing."

To my nose this is a soft, fruity floral fragrance that does remind me a little of Jo Malone's Peony and Blush only this is more intense, earthen (the moss note) and uplifting and not at all powdery. Jo Malone Silk Blossom Cologne contains notes of white pepper, silk blossom and moss - it shouldn't work but it does. I can't think of any perfume this outright reminds me of but it does have a lazy summers afternoon vibe and who in their right mind could resist the beautiful ombre effect bottle complete with tassel? Not me that is for sure.

Both the fragrance and matching candle will launch on the 1st of May and the whole £42 purchase price from the candle will go directly to supporting Jo Malone Charity Gardens which in turn fund charities worldwide. Stylish yet giving - that's what we like to see!

Jo Malone Silk Blossom Cologne 30ml/100ml - £41/£82
Jo Malone Silk Blossom Candle £42
Both will launch on the 1st of May.
